Morning People

I’m giving Morning People 5 Stars because I can’t give them 10 on here! Everything from the quality of food, flavour and creativity is absolute perfection. I’ve been here many times and the food is always great. The staff are the most friendliest group of people this side of Victoria! Even when they are so busy, they make an effort to chat with the customers and make them feel welcome. They have a huge variety of delicious food, including the two pictured below. Peanut butter bowl, and a side of smash potatoes!

Decided to try this breakfast food truck. I had the loaded dish, which was great. My accompanying party had the vegetable sandwich, which was also good, but maybe priced a little high. Service was quick and polite. I'd recommend. Vegetarian options: There were some vegetarian options on the menu. They seemed health conscious in general, so I'm sure they'd be willing to accommodate change requests. Kid-friendliness: Outdoor picnic eating area. Kids can eat, make a mess, and walk around.

Ordered the Brisket Hash the special and it was good! The potatoes are amazing and the service was quick! On the pricier side, but the food tasted fresh!

A great friendly and early morning breakfast spot they are also open for lunch. Just off the Vancouver bike path. Delicious and amazing, a worthy diversion from my morning commute.

Not exactly worth all the hype. The Smashed Hash or something like that was a good concept with less than great execution. The potato chunks were far, far too big to eat, and no knives were provided with the meal, only forks. There is a picture with this review showing what they expect you to put in your mouth, just a bit smaller than a tennis ball. If this had been the only negative aspect, I'd probably go back, but the food is much too expensive for the quality and care provided. I wish it had been better, I wanted to like this truck. Maybe your experience will be different from mine.

The service was amazing, very wholesome and casual vibe, and the food was incredible! I had the Smashed Hash, which was very reasonably priced by modern food industry standards. The potatoes were incredibly crispy, and the eggs and sauces were a perfect complement. Very impressed!

They weren't wrong! That was the best breakfast sandwich I've put in my mouth!! And adding the hash to it was not a mistake and the aioli for dip?! Unreal!! Lovely, friendly service and great food. I'll be back! Cant use enough exclamation marks.

Had such a great experience today at Morning People! We ordered a sausage party, which was messy in all the best ways- fried egg with runny yolk, shreds of sharp cheddar dropping like confetti, and an unruly tangle of greens that the bun barely contained. Sausage, house ketchup, garlic aioli, tomato, and caramelized onions rounded out a really solid and delicious breakfast sandwich which I would happily order again! We also had loaded smashed browns with added sausage the sausage is really really good- they came in a big box and easily fed two people. The crispy edges on the potatoes were a highlight. While we were finishing up, we were surprised with a taster of the bomb dia açaí bowl which was legit with really good granola, strawberry, banana, and hemp hearts. I noticed that they also have hot sauce or salsa? for sale and some cookies from Hidden Gem around the corner. The guy working was super helpful too. Highly recommend!
