Fantastic staff, excellent vets, my animals always get great care. Our dog Tennessee was also a blood donor. Feels great to be able to give back to pets who are in need.
As a 1st time dog owner I was given so much great information. The gentleness of the vet and techs was so appreciative. My Ricky Bobby had a great experience as did I.
UPDATE: ended up getting a refund and plan cancelled, have been back there since and the experience was great. the vet tech was super amazing with my nervous puppy. Honestly I thought these guys were a great team at first when I started going here. I got the Optimum puppy plan it was $60.00/ month and covered my puppies spay and vaccines, it was an excellent deal. I was told the "adult dog" plan was only $30.00/month and it would auto renew so I let it, well turns out the price went up significantly to over $50.00 and nothing else is covered under it. There was no notice the price had gone up it was just charged to my card. I tried to email, was told to call. called multiple times and got put on hold for 10+ minutes each time. Then emailed again, they told me it would be no problem refunding it but Brittany in accounting had to do it and she would call me back. well that was almost 2 weeks ago, have now followed up with 2 more emails and no response. I am forced to open up an investigation with my credit card company to get reimbursed. Also good luck ever getting your animal in, even if you purchase their ridiculously priced plan they will tell you to wait 3+ weeks for an appointment when your dog has an infection in their eye and you are supposed to have a plan that covers their appointment.
What an amazing team. We had our fur baby put to sleep here recently. The team was so compassionate and made our baby feel soo loved during the process. We have only taken him to this clinic two times, before he was put to rest and It felt like the team loved him as much as we do. I would love to point out the blonde, possible vet tech? with glasses and short hair so sorry I didn't grab her name she has been so amazing to our family for every visit and the reason why I wanted to leave a review.
If I could give this place zero stars I would, this clinic has been a nightmare to deal with. After rescheduling our dog’s surgery 3 times we’ve decided to go else where. I won’t be letting these incompetent people touch my dog. She is a rescue and clearly not a priority to the clinic. There is a lady who is the rudest individual I’ve ever dealt with, after loosing out on work 3 times due to their inability to stick with an appointment we have decided to NEVER use this clinic again and I hope no one else makes the same Mistake. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.
I called Morinville vet at 2:30pm on a Saturday when my dog was crying and howling in pain. They turned me away saying they were closing at 4 and wouldn’t even see me. Told me to drive the hour to the emergency vet in Edmonton, which I did. I was only there half an hour before we put my dog down, that’s how bad it was. If they would have seen me, my dog wouldn’t have been in pain longer than he had to be and it would have been over way quicker but because they wanted to ‘close on time’ I had to drag my dying dog and kids into the city. Awful service. Wish I could give no stars. Do no recommend.
Took my Brand new 8 week old puppy in for a check up and LOVED this clinic! Very friendly staff and Dr. Miller is a Wonderful vet full of information in regards to my new family member. Highly recommend this clinic
I am happy I did not have to put my animal under the stress of having to undergo a checkup simply to get deworm meds. It worked. She has recovered from the worms. Thank you! Many other vets insisted that I bring her in for a checkup.
the staff are careless and apathetic, the dark haired receptionist is always rude and condescending and there is such a high turn over of vets that i couldn’t name one even if i tried. this building is full of money hungry people who look at sick animals as money bags rather than family members. also, the amount of “healthy” cats that have been adopted out of MVC that have died shortly after being adopted is astounding and shameful. the people of this community talk and more often than not, i’ve heard nothing but horror stories and well-deserved slander.
Very displeased with Dr.Kinsmen and the counter staff other then Cody who is the only staff member that seems to care. I Took my cat in for an injured leg August.31st and they couldn't rush me out of there faster, with an 850 dollar bill, pain meds and just a diagnosis of "leg not broken". And literally was told nothing else other then to keep him in a cage so he can't move. After being sent home for a few days I took a video and sent it back to them and they said "oh yeah that shouldn't be bent like that bring him back in"... The leg was bent just as bad when I brought him in initially. After bringing him in again a week later they said we need to be referred to a specialist in Sherwood Park and they would send the X-Rays to them and that the specialist would reach out to us. I talked to the girl on the counter staff on the way out and asked if I should contact this specialist or if would they contact me "Just to confirm" As my cats leg was only getting worse.. She looked confused and then looked at the paperwork she had and said um they will contact you. After another week of not hearing anything we contacted the counter staff where we were brushed off and told the info was sent and to relax. After another week of silence, we contacted them again to ask if they could look into it and then again they said the info had been sent to the specialist. I then asked if they could provide who the specialist was so I could just reach out to them to confirm.... This was on a Friday and they said that can't speak to the vet to find out where the info was sent to until she was back in on Wednesday next week. Then now Wednesday, Sept.20th they called and gave me the specialist in Sherwood Park. I then contacted them and they told me they hadn't received anything........ Cody one of the members on the counter staff who I appreciate greatly for actually helping finally looked into it and had seen that there was some kind of error and the information and X-Rays had not been sent to the specialist. He then emailed me the X-Rays and I had to contact the specialist myself and email them the X-Rays. Now after a month since the injury I was finally able to see the specialist. So long story short. Had to go back and forth with them several times since my cat's condition didn't improve and to finally get referred to another clinic a month after. Only to find out: 1. The specialist had not received the information or the X-Rays and I had to request them myself and send them to the specialist. 2. Out of the 5 X-Rays they did only 1 was useful and they had to do more X-Rays at the specialist. 3. According to the specialist even the 1 the did on the correct leg "Right"....Not "Left" was done incorrectly and not straightened in the way it needed to be done to see the injury. 4. He needs serious surgery...over 5k And the injury has been aggravated and worsened because of the delay. So save time and money and go somewhere where they'll actually do something for your pet when it desperately needs help. Just wanted to say Judy the Manager reached out to me and helped correct Dr.Kinsmens mistake. Much appreciated for her to do that.
