We visited this clinic for the first time and were very pleased with the service provided. Our dog had a chipped molar and the vet we saw, Dr. Dana Snell, was amazing. She genuinely cared about the health of our dog and offered thoughtful advice. The clinic is very clean and affordable, which is hard to find sometimes. I definitely recommend this clinic and we will be returning in the future.

General Vet has always been our go to vet for over 20 years (two dogs and two cats). They're busy, but for good reason. I have never met a more caring vet than Dr. Abbey. They're quick, efficient, and are able to help us out in a pinch with boarding as well.

As long as you are patient and willing to wait to have a conversation with knowledgeable professionals, I would recommend nowhere else.

This vet clinic has provided excellent medical care for my family's cats for years. They are good people who do the best job possible under the circumstances. I credit them with saving our little guy M - he developed pancreatitis, and it was touch and go for weeks, but the care he received at the General Veterinary Hospital made the difference. They were also wonderful to us, and allowed us to spend a lot of time with M while he was getting treatment, watching bird videos and listening to his favourite music. Two years later, our little M is going strong.

Called to see if they could see my dog because he had a problem and the woman on the phone was super nice. When I told her I had never brought him in to this vet before but there may be an emergency issue she put me on hold and came back and apologized but the vet said “we can’t fit you in go see your normal vet or go to emergency vet” I live 3 blocks from that place if it’s life or death for my dog then what? Go many Km more because they didn’t want to Squeeze me in? awful mentality

Always friendly, treat my dog with respect. One time they trimmed her nails too short and she bled a little but they've been careful and courteous ever since. Always my go to vet.
