Came here completely at random and what a great surprise. Aaron and Carlos were warm and welcoming and cheerful and funny. I had the shrimp linguine, my son had the salmon. Both dishes were stupendous. Salmon was fresh and perfectly done, as was the linguine. Dessert was light and fruity and delicious. Highly recommend and I wish them all the success in the world.
Monte Bianca is the perfect addition to the neighbourhood. The service is great, the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming and the staff also. The food is so tasty and it's always warm. This is one of my favourite restaurant now and I can eat here everyday. The cocktails are truly made to perfection and it will make you keep ordering more. Next on my list is brunch. Must try and you wouldn't be disappointed at all.
A great addition to the neighbourhood. I had brunch at Monte Bianco yesterday and came back this morning because yesterday was so good. A perfect eggs benedict $14, nice big portions, and the chef went to the effort of cutting out little circles of gluten free bread to substitute for an english muffin. The place is fully renovated and looks great. The owner seems like a really great guy, and I hope the place succeeds. Once their liquor license is issued they plan to put on some live music, and the place seems like it'll be a good night spot too.
I and my friend had a brunch here. They got cute small patio and the food was amazing! I had shrimp linguine and the shrimp, butter, and garlic were perfectly cooked. They got 2 kinds of dessert - not many but very good! Carlos was really friendly too. I’ll def come back to try other menus!
Came here on a whim after noticing they’re a new restaurant in the neighbourhood. It was empty when we came in, and smells a bit like a smoking area. Not sure if the smell was a residue from previous tenant, or something else. The staff and service was great! The lady who served us gave great recommendations and explained the menu well, letting us know that we can substitute the protein as well as the sauce for any of them. They also served us a complimentary bread while we waited for the food and they’re served with balsamic vinegar. We ordered the rigatoni but substituted the shrimp with chicken due to allergies. The sauce tasted great, and good portion - I shared it with my sister and it was the right amount for us who are not starving. I’d come back in the future to try out their other menu for sure!
Had a lovely Father’s Day dinner here! They even made a special Italian dessert for my dad. I had the fettuccine Alfredo which was delicious. My mom had lamb chops which she said were juicy and tender. My sister had gnocchi which she enjoyed! My dad had the sea bass & loved the vegetable side as well. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the hospitality of the staff. The chef was super considerate of my mom’s dietary restriction as well. Worth a visit to check out their delicious Italian food! Thanks again!
First off I wanna say that the service here is incredible. They're still soft opening and it seems like there's only two guys working here but they were both so polite, patient, and friendly. We had a big group of 9 with two split bills, so it wasn't easy to deal with us lol. They even divided our two orders of calamari onto three plates so that it would be easier for the whole table to reach In terms of food, I'd say everything was 4.5/5. I think my favourite thing was the garlic bread bc who knew it would taste so good with balsamic glaze??! I mean, this restaurant did and they did a good thing. The fried calamari was also really light and crunchy and not greasy at all. The only recommendations would be that the risotto needed something acidic to counter all the creaminess the risotto portion was so big too... could definitely make 2-3 meals out of it and the grilled salmon was a bit dry. In terms of price, they were super reasonable. All pastas were under $18 and the only "pricey" things were of course the steak or fish. I loved the ambience of the restaurant too. They played good music, everything felt relaxed and casual, and it didn't feel cramped even tho the tables were huge lol. Overall it's a great place for a family dinner
We ordered a Grilled Chicken Breast with mushroon risotto and a Garden Salad. The chicken was tender and cooked to perfection. The risotto was amazing, creamy, al dente and delicious. The place is cozy and the service is friendly and polite. The coctels and smoothies delicious. Highly recommended.
This is a hidden gem in Toronto. We took our mom for his birthday and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing and the staff was outstanding. We had the Seabass, Salmon, Chicken Alfredo, Creamy Risotto. Lot's of appetizers. We will definitely return here.
We were exploring the area for some food and discovered this hidden gem. We sat at the small patio but the place also looked beautiful inside. We ordered a meatball spaghetti and gnocchi. Both meals were so tasteful and cooked to perfection. We have Latin-Italian backgrounds and these meals feel very homemade. Congrats to the Chef, and kudos to our waiter Carlos for his hospitality. I recommend the Pisco Sour cocktail, that was also so good!
