My favourite Korean-Chinese restaurant in Langley. It is quite far from my area but I've tried here and cannot go to any other Korean-Chinese restaurant. The servers and owner are so nice and have good customer service they are always listening and focusing on what the customer needed. Always happy and thankful in this restaurant. The food was amazing. Just try it. And you will like it.
Moved to Walnut grove not too long ago, we were craving for some Korean noodles, usually we goes to the ones in Burquitlam, but we wanted to try the ones close to us, so we picked Mokran because of the high ratings, and I have to agree with all the positive reviews. The service was great, and fast, always check on our side dishes, many places we have been to, they are too busy to check on the side dishes, it’s the little things makes a big difference. Noodles were great too, we both agreed we don’t need to go to Burquitlam for Korean noodles. The only small suggestion I have is the breading for the chicken is a little too thick, otherwise its 10 out of 10. Love this place, will be back for more
Great Korean Chinese food in Langley. Hidden in a strip mall but food was tasty and well-portioned. They have plexi-glass to separate tables to make it safer.
Affordable and good quality. Korean-Chinese cuisine with well known menu. They have excellent customer services. I was worrying about this restaurant when it started in the beginning of the pandemic early 2020. My concern was not only the timing, but also one of my wife's favorite menu, Jjambong, was not up to her satisfaction. She really wished to have this business going well because of the convenient location and honestly gave them comments about the quality. They listened! The food quality has been gradually improved. She was very happy about it. Now, you see how busy this place can be during the peak hours. Last Sunday lunch here with my family was good. My only complaint is that the noodle was slightly less cooked. It was not serious enough to raise a hand at that time because the food overall was acceptable. My concern is that it was a lunch time, and giving up a little quality during the busy hours is not a good recipe of winning business. Customers can wait to taste the best you can bring. That's the main reason that customers visit again and again. Other than that, I wish this business very best for the sake of my family and the local community.
Since the apology from the owner, I have ordered sevetal takeouts as well as dined in. The service has improved and is very attentive. A female server I see all the time is very courteous and considerate. They prepare the noodle when you arrive to pick up for the freshness. Black bean noodles, spicy seafood noodle, sweet and sour pork and kung pow chicken are my family's favourite. The portions are generous and the flavours have been consistently great, but the last time I dined in, my spicy seafood noodle lacked seafood other than 1 or 2 prawn, a mussel and bits of squid. ‐-------------------------------------------‐------------- This is a Korean-style Chinese restaurant. Inside was simply decorated and the service was prompt. Food tasted okay. I've ordered a dish for a takeout and my Caucasian husband went to pick up the order. As soon as he entered the restaurant, a server told him that he must be at a wrong restaurant. That was unprofessional of the server to judge, and the attitude was very disappointing. The tangsooyook was quite dry and hard. Will not be going back.
There is some confusion about what type of food this place serves across Yelp, Google and Trip Advisor… Came here because almost all searches said that this is a place for Chinese food - IT IS NOT ! This place serves Korean Food ONLY.. Menu items are Korean like Fried Chicken, Soju, Spicy Seafood soup, and more.. Ordered the Spicy Seafood soup and Rice combo. The rice came in the smallest bowl possible and the Seafood Soup was mostly onions and some cabbage with VERY little quantity of shrimp, octopus and some type of fish.. Prices on the menu are steep and for a first timer, thinking that this is listed as Chinese Food everywhere, the choices one can make are limited.. This place IS a hit with the Korean Clientele because everyone else sitting there was Korean… The service was good - no doubt about that.. Highly doubt that i would come back here…
its pretty authentic Korean restaurant. its one of my favourite place in metro Vancouver. all menu are great and my favourite one is jjambbong. And staffs are very friendly.
What a pleasant surprise! Food is tasty, menu is short, portions are large. I'm so glad I ordered take-out from Mokran. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was busy. I will be back for the black bean noodles! So good.
Good customer service and good food, my husband and me have been a while not satisfied with the restaurants, except today. Mokran Langley walnut Grave gives us a surprise on the food that is good and the waitress is very honest with us about the food size. We are very appropriate. We highly recommend this restaurant to everyone that we know or do not know!
I found short thick and curly hairI don't want to know where its from stuck in fried pork's batter. Called the waitress and showed her... She said sorry and went to talk to the manager. Came back and offered fried dumplings on the house, but we've ordered quit enough food already and by then I totally lost my appetite, so I refused. I didn't wanna pay for the fried pork, but they charged me for everything! I've been to many restaurants and had some issues before, but it all depends on how it's dealt with. I don't think I will ever go back here. BTW~ The black bean noodle was so bad as well!
