Always greeted promptly upon arrival. We enjoyed a lovely meal. The service was good and I never felt rushed to leave when it was the restaurant was busy. They asked if we wanted more side dishes when we were done so that was never an issue. I do wish they had other side dishes to offer as the 3 options havent really changed in the many times I've been there. The salt/pepper and 2 sauces they provided were perfect pairings. The tempura was fresh and it was our veggies for the evening.
First time in Kovan…the tastes were fantastic! We saw many Korean aunties and uncles and we could tell this restaurant is maintaining the original flavours of Korean foods. Everything was fresh and yummy. The price is friendly. Although the service was a bit slow but it’s understandable. Overall, very recommend this place. Especially recommend with all day special combo for $20
Great value and good food. I had a combo for $20 you get choose two dishes from list of a few. I had the cold buckwheat noodles and bulgogi. Good size portion at a super reasonable price. Came with two side dishes too. Definitely authentic Korean.
It was a very homely place with homely Korean food. I really liked one of the side dishes the one in the middle in the picture. It seemed like a new twist on the traditional kimchi. I had the soybean paste stew. It was okay. My mom had yuk gae jang, and she said it was good and simple.
Definitely can not recommend this restaurant! There was no service at all. No one was at the front to greet customers, it was like a self service restaurant. It was late lunch, restaurant was completely empty and quiet. We can hear and see 2 workers in the kitchen. After 5 minutes of waiting, we sat ourselves down, had to get the menu ourselves and then finally a lady came to take our order. Food was okay, not great! She never came back to see if everything was fine or if we needed anything else. We ate quickly, paid the bill and still gave 15%tip. Never again will we be going back! There are many other better Korean restaurants in Langley and Surrey.
First visit, choose JJusam Bulgoki and noodle&bulgoki combo. It was nice. I think the menu is authentic style just a bit. Been to every korean restaurant in Langley, this shop has reasonable price. I think it'd be nice if they just upgrade their service.

Food was very bland and pricey for what you get. The Bolgogi plate was 21$ and super small, if that was for your meal, then you need a extra item because it's tiny for the big price. Waitress wasn't bad, but lacked attention. Kept forgetting my drink, never came to our table to see how everything was.Food: 1/5
This is my favorite Korean restaurant that my family and I visit Langley every time. Taste good! Good service , reasonable price and portion!
Stopped by for a bibimbap in stone bowl, was delicious. Enjoyed the included sides and tea provided as well, everything was very tasty. Been a while since i had really good traditional Korean food.
