Mister Transmission

Bought a second hand vehicle with a rebuilt transmission. The owner honoured the warranty and there was bugs that needed to be worked out along the way with the transmission. The owner stood behind his work and fixed it without question. Great service and really good people and would recommend this to anyone.

Was referred to these guys by my regular and trusted mechanic, as he was too busy. Mister Transmission was fantastic. They were honest and transparent when working on my vehicle, did their best to keep costs down when possible and within reason, and were able to lend me a car to use while they worked on mine. I'll definitely be coming back here for car repairs in the future!

Came here to replace my front shocks, because the shop was recommended to me by someone who knew the old owner. Car runs great now, so I'm happy about that. But one of my biggest hangups about mechanics is that you never know if they're screwing you on the price. These guys tried to over-charge us on parts, and once we called them out on it by showing them competitor pricing and the actual cost of the parts online, they dropped it down to a reasonable number. Then when I go pick up the car, I find out some extra parts had to be replaced, and unsurprisingly the cost was inflated compared to what I could get elsewhere. Of course I have to pay up this time. I realize most mechanics will try to pad their profits one way or another, but if you get burned once, you'd have to be stupid to try it again. Trust is easily lost.
