I worked for Mister Pet many years ago when there were several stores and Al managed the Pickering store. Whenever any of us had a question or a problem Al was always there to help and answer any question. Great guy.

Al (the owner) is one class act. He runs a very well maintained and stocked pet store with the best service in the industry! Also, I remember when he had his old store back in Scarborough. Even back then he saw to it that all his customers were happy and left with what they needed and nothing more. This is yet another example of how the smaller retailers can compete head on with the larger box stores.

A very nice local pet store. I went here over the larger chains 99% of the time for my guinea pigs and their products seem a lot better in general. I once bought timothy hay from a chain store which had different brands and I regretted it. My allergies were wrecked when I fed my guineas while using a chain's brand but never an issue with Mister Pet's products. Also for those who's pets would enjoy dried corn on the cob they are the only place I could find and for a very low price of 1.99$ a cob. I still go there for our turtle's filters

Had their animals in tiny cages. Females in with males. When I did decide to bring my guinea pig home it was full of lice so had to pay out money to treat it. They are irresponsible and clearly don't care about the well being of the animals.
