very good customer service, as its a new place you can't expect them to have every fish or live plants, I encourage everyone to visit and support your local fish stores, because I believe Deep Blue Aquarium has potential!!! and its the only aquarium store in the Malvern area.

Not sure why they would advertise store opening without any live stock or actually being ready to have a business. So far they have empty salt-water fish tanks and an empty coral tanks, they do have few fresh water fishes (just a few). Most of the live stock are labelled "NOT FOR SALE , DISPLAY ONLY). Price wise they are on the hight end of pricing for China products, I haven't seen any high end products on display at all. Since its a newly opened store I gave them 2 start, I will give them a visit in few weeks and re-write my review if they improve. O.K. I went back as I have promised and this store is absolute joke!!! still no proper stock, even the few salt water related live stock you see are not for sale. I know this hobby is expensive, but he is above the expensive line for cheep make. I wanted a reactor, when asked, he offered me a used reactor with out a pump, it has a sticker on it for $100, so I am thinking I am going to get a deal since it has no pump and it has been brutally used, but he wanted $120 for it and lets not forget the taxes applied on it. All in all guys it looks like a business ran by someone with no knowledge about business and has absolute "0" customer relation skills, not to mention the knowledge on the trade skill it self lack in a great deal. I am done with this nightmare of a store. By the way all the ICH related products are always sold out, because they them self use them a lot, you be the judge of it. Thank you and I hopes it helps.

I wouldn't touch this store with a 50 foot stick, unless you are interested in hosting parasites and spending way too much. Few live stock that they carry look sick or have Ich on them...and they don't seem to have the required knowledge about their live stock at all. Compared to other local stores like Big Al's or NAFB their product is cheep china made, and the price is close to Big Al's. This guy make up the price on the spot, he doesn't seem to know what he is selling. Before you spend your hard earned money here, check out the prices in other store. I will NEVER go here again, he disrespects customers.

My yearly review of Deep Blue Aquarium. So I have been checking in and out of this place for about a year. And most of the reviews are right. Let's start from the top. When I did find it. I felt that this was just a hobbyist set up. As I walked into the store I was greeted by the store owner. This was odd, Seeing I have never met the owner before on my first visit. As I took a look around there was no care put into there layout.There was no proper product pricing or shelving to hold product's. There was no selection in fish tank's, fish food, or anything. So I walked back to the fish room. I couldn't believe how cheaply made everything was. I was surprised fish were not jumping out of the tank's seeing there were no top's. Cheap lighting, leaky pipes, heaters everywhere, with no fish half the time. There was one good thing while I still continued to visit this store. Was the friendly staff employed there Mike and Tyson were very knowledgeable in everything I asked about. This one guy Mike did everything in the store from what I seen. Can you believe this one guy doing cash, maintenance, feeding the fish, dealing with customers, helping customers, answering the phone when he could, making deal's, stacking product, selling product, bagging fish, keeping the shop clean, taking garbage out. LIke hire some staff, instead there is a little Indian women who no's absolutely nothing. Last time I was there she was watching Indian Movies while mike was cleaning everything and dealing with two customers. When I seen this I stopped going. I was told Mike or Tyson don't work there anymore recently. Now I could understand why. From all the previous postings it seems that the owner of this store is not a very good person. When you are short staffed that mean's there is no money. When there is no money to pay your staff, there is no money to pay for product's or fish stock. When everything is over priced that show's the owner does not no what his client base market is. When you sum it all up. There are other aquarium stores in the city with much more reputable status. Do your research before buying. This is the exact way not to run a business.

I am still surprised this guy is still open for business lol. This store is proof on how not to run an aquarium store :) Has zero clue about marine setups, let alone freshwater setups. Thinks he's a cichlids guru but you will realize he stumbles to answer the right questions when someone knowledgeable probes deeper about the species. If you do have to go to the store and pay a visit, ask for Tson, the store manager is who is excellent about livestock and the inner workings of how an aquarium actually runs. Again, over priced fish, equipment and oh yeah...wait till he starts to sell you a pitch that he can price match Big Al's on anything that you want.
