Minto Sports Complex Fitness Centre

A great complex to indulge into multiple activities ranging from Lifting weights, Ice-skating, Ice- Hockey, American Football etc.nThe complex also consists of a health and fitness center where you can get regular checkups, blood work, vaccination etc. done.nAll the above facilities are preferably for the University students but can be used general public by paying extra charges and making appointments.

Some gym equipment needs to be replaced cause it’s too old but other than that it’s a nice facility

Gym smells. Change room smells. Everything is rusted. Looks like a crime scene in the shower room. You can smell the mold in the showers. The shower curtains are not the right ones, they have cloth curtains up, on onky half the stalls. So when you do turn on the water it sprays through to get your hanging towel all wet.nI have been to a lot of gyms and there is no upkeep of this place, one would think with all the money the university gets general maintenance and replacement of old equipment would be apart of a regular schedule.nThe only reason i go back is because I pay for it through tuition.

Ice surface on both rinks is horrible during the summer. Soft and dangerous and has been that since the Rink was built. Friendly staff tho.

Friendly staff, clean dressing rooms, and a place to eat upstairs. Two ice pads - one doesn't have stands and limited seating on the second floor to watch. The main ice is used for uOttawa hockey games, so there's plenty of seating there.
