Minit-Tune & Brake Auto Centres

I took my car in for an oil change and they also recommended a radiator flush. After they were done they told me that they had cracked the rad because a nut was too tight. They tried putting some sort of sealant on it, but it still leaked. Asked what they were going to do about it, he said he would give me a good deal on installing a new one. I said I didn't see why I should have to pay for a new rad. when it was fine when I came in. He said I could come by anytime for a top-up. I've been taking my three cars there for about twenty years, but no more !!

Only nightmare experience from a simple tune up. They over torqued a spark plug in an aluminum head motor and expected me to pay in both time and money to get it sent out to get the head re machined. I guess they talked to someone who actually did know their ass from a hole in the ground and got a screw sleeve inserted instead but I still had to pay for their mistake. A few days later that spark plug popped and my little 3 cylinder car sounded like a Harley. I took it to an actual mechanic to get it fixed. I needed my car for my business and couldn't afford down time to dispute it ... and they knew it. The frickin mechanics were even laughing at me through the glass. Admittedly that happened several years back but I tell anyone 'never to go here' as my revenge. It's not as gratifying as throwing a brick through their window or shooting them all in the head but it still hurts their business in the long run.

Excellent shop, have been doing business with them for over 5 years..they stand behind their work.

Terrible customer service, the guy actually hung up the phone on me.. Lol He was not very reasonable at all.. Do not recommend

This branch of Minit Tune has been a tremendous help with all of our service including a cooling problem and oil changes.
