I was there on a Sunday, nobody there, they took me in really quick. Doctor came at a reasonable time , all in all in and out 3 hours. Had to come back next day, full this time, triage took 30 minutes, I was ready to wait, doctor saw me in 5 minutes, I was with results , blood work all done in 1.5 hours. It was fantastic. Really nice nurses and doctors, Very happy with my visit this time
If the emergency is related to a child, I advise against going to this place. The staff in the blue zone is extremely rude, unprofessional, and unconcerned about the well-being of crying babies. Our baby was in excruciating pain and inconsolable, and it took an unbelievable 5 hours for them to attend to an infant. Every time we inquired about the wait time, the staff evaded the question and provided vague responses. I will absolutely be leaving feedback at the number provided in the pamphlet at the help desk. I am truly speechless at the appalling service and blatant negligence in handling infants.
I have been to at least 5 different hospitals for my children emergency and so far, this one tops. I read the reviews and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go here. It was cold and didn’t want to drive to Hamilton for my kids wound! So I decided to just give a try. I got to be honest, I was skeptical go here because it was for my 4 year old and I wasn’t sure if they have any good PEDs or doctors to treat her minor cut.nnParking was empty, yet I parked the car and went inside. Covid screening was done quickly, there was only one nurse so had to wait 5 mins to check in. Then nurses triage happened, then one more triage and screening happened, sent us to quick fix emergency department. Nurse took a look at my daughter, put freezing gel and then doctor came, treated well! They offered to have a word with orthopedic surgeon because a cut was deep and they asked me to get an ultrasound and go to fracture clinic with the results in a week or so. I loved the staff, they were friendly, courteous and professional as well. I was done and I was home in 2 hours. I couldn’t believe it! Urgent care is all about the quick attention and this hospital provided that for me. I love it and will go again!
If the emergency is serious and child related don't even go to thus location...nFirst we got there packed my car and got a ticket our first contact was really topnotch and professional, the MOA or nurse at the unit immediately gave her first aid to reduce the temperature then directed to the blue lane where doctor would see her ,getting there nurses were all talking, chatting etc we were left on the chair at the reception for over an hour really I don't know how their triangle is been done or how it's been prioritized but this was all wrong my daughter was in pains her tummy hurts on the rate of 10 or over then we were called to the room for doctor to see her another 30min waiting for doctor to come see her this was all she'd of wrong.nMy baby was crying in pains and they left us there so wrong and yet we still stayed for hours
Me and my sister waited for 3 hours and still no signs calling our names. I asked how long its going to be and they said there is no wait time. So its going to be indefinite and maybe wait for the rest of the day. Worst experience ever. If it is really urgent, go to the other emergency hospitals otherwise you might be dead before they will accomodate you. Not Recommended here
