We absolutely love Making Waves for our two little ones. We have been going to the Milton location for 6 years since my little guy was 6 months old. The instructors are absolutely incredible especially Omar, Evan and Emma from our experience. My 6 year old wouldn't be where he is today with his swimming if it wasn't for his instructors. I look forward to our continued training for our children.nnOnly feedback I have is about the change room area and signing up for next season. The change area is small especially with lots of people there, not enough private rooms so have to change on the bench which kills my back after a while especially when I was postpartum. Love the little upgrades but the shower head's are a little rough for little ones - liked when you could use a handheld sprayer. Maybe next time have both?nnFor signing up for next season, the emails come very fast - it feels like we just pay for a season and month later another email comes in for the following season. For the cost, that seems a bit quick.nnAll and all, we are pleased and happy with Making Waves Milton.
I have loved my experience in the spring session of making waves! Megan has been an amazing coach to my son and the Supervisors have been so attentive and wonderful. A big shout out to Bobbi who goes above and beyond circulating around the pool and working with children who need to further work on specific skills. She is incredible!! The class sizes are no more than 3 and it allows for all the kids to get attention while learning. I also love how the coaches are in the pool with the kids. Im very happy with Making Waves, it’s a great school and we have had such positive experiences!
Great swim school! My grandson has been taking lessons at Making Waves Milton since he was 6 mos. old. He is now 6 in Big Waves 6 and looks forward to his lessons every week! The coaches, supervisors and head coaches are all super supportive and motivate him to do his best! And I love that there is a maximum of 3 students per class so they get lots of pool time! Worth every cent!
We've been going to lessons since my first kiddo was 6 months old. Now both kids are taking lessons oldest in star and youngest in bw7. We love this place swimming instructors are wonderful and attentive to our kids needs. They know how to push them and offer insight in technique. Both kids are super confident swimmers. Our oldest wants to be a lifeguard so she's doing all the courses for it here as well. We are very happy to have found this place when we had our daughter.
The swim school is great for myself on mat leave and our infant! The centre is very clean and staff are friendly. The water is always nice and warm and change rooms accessible. Our instructor Bev is great with babies and is helpful when I’m not comfortable trying a new skill at first. My only wish is they had more time slots available for morning sessions different times and days to help navigate family schedules.
