As friendly as they are at the dental office, my overall experience has been quite frustrating. I booked an appointment back in May for a cleaning in August. On the day of my appointment, as I walked into the office I was informed that my cleaning had been canceled due to the hygienist calling in sick. The front desk said they tried calling but left no voice mail or email. I was very understanding and was open to rescheduling. The new appointment however was set for November 17th, 2022. I was reassured that this would only be a temporary date and that I should be able to get an earlier cleaning appointment due to cancelations. Well, it’s been over 3 months and I have heard nothing from Mid Main regarding a new date. Not a single phone call or email. The fact that it’s taken this long for a simple cleaning is absolutely ridiculous.
Dr Vesna Kovacevic is my family physician and I could not be more happy about this. She is a warm, compassionate, dedicated Dr. She listens and takes all my concerns seriously. She does not hesitate to make referrals to specialists and treats my whole family with a respect and kindness. I am so grateful to have her as our Dr.
There are less expensive places that don’t ask you to book another visit because they are not done cleaning your teeth. The last hygienist was quite rude speaking with me because I had mentioned I wasn’t informed that I would have to come back again for another cleaning, which took so long to get in the first place. The senior front desk lady was quite defensive when I was just trying to give constructive criticism. Thankfully, there was a cancellation and I was able to book the 2nd round of cleaning the next day. Also, their version of charging $30 for “fluoride” is actually their mouthwash. My teeth have never felt grimy after a cleaning like they do now. My friend who is a hygienist took a look at my teeth and saw that it wasn’t a thorough job.
This office has been ignored my request for 1 week. I sent a week ago and I haven't received any email from them. I sent an email multiple times. I don't get it. Their website tells me they will response within 24 hours. I don't know if they are discriminating based on my name or something.
I have been going to this dental clinic for about 7 years, with a break going to another clinic when I lived in another part of town. Their hygienists are professional and have been very helpful with their recommendations on better products to help me improve my oral care, without lecturing me. I'm grateful that they took a non-preachy approach and actually helped me make improvements. The dental work I've had done has been very good. The front desk has occasionally been disorganized on the phone. Hit and miss. But overall, I'd recommend this dental practice.
The family physicians are absolutely lovely here, as they try their best to help the patients. However, I sometimes find the reception quite dismissive and hard to communicate with. I understand that when working under stress, it’s easy to give up on good customer service practices, but being friendly, approachable, and professional is still an essential part and not at all impossible to achieve. I don’t normally leave reviews on Google, but the experience of dealing with the front desk at Mid-main really motivated me to write this down.
Dr. Kovacevic is amazing! She has been my family doctor for 6 years now. She is knowledgeable, empathic and goes above and beyond to support me when needed. I feel fortunate to have found her. Also Mid-Main's online appointment booking system is easy to use.
Really glad to have found Dr. Kovacevic here, she's easily the best doctor I've ever had. Booking is quick online, the front staff are efficient and welcoming, and the premises are clean, though a little outdated. EDIT - 3 Years Later My opinion of Dr. Kovacevic hasn't changed. I often think of how grateful I am to have her as my family doctor. The clinic has moved locations and the new building is so nice, bright, and clean.
My GP is Dr. Vesna Kovacevic. She is an absolute gem and cares not only for me but for my immediate family. She is very relatable and down to earth. I am a little sad that they have moved as I loved the old location. I know that the new building is just down main street so it's just down the hill. I am so grateful to have a GP in this city and am always appreciative of the care I receive. Keep it up Doctor K! I am sure the last couple years have been challenging in healthcare but I just know that all your patients are grateful! especially my mother
I am very satisfied with all the care and services I've received over the years from Mid Main Medical. I've had a few different doctors there as they move to different facilities or specialized areas.....however , each and every doctor has been absolutely excellent , providing top notch care. The doctors and staff make you feel like you are their only patient, and show care and compassion at all times. Thank you , Mid Main
