The food is amazing at a great price. This is literally my favourite place to get coffee in the city… I actually only come here for my coffee. Plus, they always have a lot of specials so I can switch things up, and the soup is home made. They have so many dessert options and GREAT service! They catered a party of mine and everything was perfect. Our family loves the chicken. I have been here many times and will continue to come back! Thanks Michigan Diner!
I love the food here. I have no complaints <3 My kids even love this place. I have to walk by this location 3x a week to bring my youngest to daycare and he always wanted us to stop and eat there :P I prefer the crispy chicken wrap and their omeletes are fantastic. Customer service is good too <3
Very good breakfast, servers were very friendly. Can get busy on weekends so be prepared to wait! Inside has super cute decor and is very clean!
Best diner in Windsor. Always great service and great food. The decor reminds you of the classic 1960s Happy Days TV series. If you live near Tecumseh Mall, you HAVE to go check it out. Actually if you live any where in Windsor, you should go check this place out.
Found out about the place on Windsor food Spotters after everyone was raving about the owners soups so I thought I would stop by. Don’t know how I missed the place but I live by the bridge and it’s closer to forest glade. Upon arrival, the place was nearly packed and still there was no wait for a table. There was eight of us I know I should’ve called ahead but I was hungry okay? lol right away two servers got our table together and had us set up and seated. She grabbed us some waters to start and let us know she would give us a moment to look over and come back for an official drink order. I know it’s not a big deal but was a nice touch. The place is decked out wall to wall vintage decor from the ceiling to the floor it screamed diner. I let the server know it was my first time and asked for suggestions which were helpful being as they quite a selection on the menu. Even with our big table she took the time to give me a good idea of what the top sellers were from each section. I was super hungry and I finally decided on the meatloaf dinner which came with two sides- I got the garlic mashed with a polish sausage stew to start. Comfort food, moms got something in the oven type of meal. I’ll start with the soup…. WOW. Kielbasa Sausage, Sauerkraut, potato, with carrots and celery. Light broth soup but packed with so much flavour. The meatloaf is made in-house and you can tell, it has that “secret ingredient is love” feel in every bite. My meatloaf came topped with gravy and when I was ordering I had asked for a side of gravy for my mashed, my server suggested that there would be a enough on the plate and see if I need more once the meal arrives so why add the extra charge. With the world as it is during these times with inflation I did appreciate her not just trying to upsell me for a higher tab….and she was totally right. I had enough. I wish I would’ve saved a slice of the meatloaf to take home. It came with four thick slices and man was I full, but that’s the goal right? Who goes to to a restaurant to leave hungry! Everyone was happy with their meal and it came out blazing hot so fast! I will be sure to make my way here more often. Great first impression for me and my whole table. 100% worth the drive for me I will be saving room for the brownie sundae next time I’m in. Service 12/10 Food 10/10 Cleanliness 10/10
Came in for breakfast and they were able to make my boyfriends favourite at ten am the broasted chicken!! He loves it I’m a breakfast girl through and through. The coffee was really good and service was so quick even though they were packed as always one of my favourite spots but now that I know they can make the broaster chicken that early it’s a game changer
This location has great food, the staff is friendly and wonderful at their job. I’ve never left disappointed! Will always be a go-to for a quick, delicious meal.Recommended dishesSoup, Diner Breakfast, Onion Rings, Summer Salad, Salad, 2 Piece Chicken Dinner, French Fries
Delicious food if you’re in the mood for breasted chicken, their Greek salad slays and the pink dressing is something I would drink for breakfast. Definitely much better quality than some of the other ones in Windsor, their soups taste homemade where as some of the other MDs claim it’s homemade but taste frozen and pre-made.
Food and service was great , but they have raised they're prices way to much ! For 3 people the bill was $87 .... that was for 3 dinners , 1 order of perogies, and 2 chicken dinners , 2 ice tea and 1 coffee . Abit much for a diner , those prices are more for a steak house or larger pub not a small diner.Food: 4/5
Food was delicious and hot. Placed and order over the phone and it was ready in exactly 20 min hot and ready to go. The girl at the window was very pleasant and friendly.
