Matter of Taste

So I had never eaten here previously, but I was looking for somewhere that had fresh turkey as no one in my family was doing a turkey dinner for thanksgiving this year and I was too busy working 2 jobs to make one myself. Stumbled across matter of taste and realized they had hot turkey sandwiches, so in the notes of the order I just asked for no bread as it was going to be my thanksgiving dinner, not even sure if they would be able to do that. Imagine my surprise my when order showed up with a whole thanksgiving dinner, with stuffing, corn, mashed potatoes, a roll, cranberry sauce, and of course turkey. Along with this very sweet note from the restaurant. I almost cried. Thank you Matter of Taste for making my thanksgiving!! I will be sure to come again and support this business. I highly recommend.

went there for brunch, portion is great, food was fresh in raw and after cook, we went in the afternoon, sounds like lots of seniors came here repeatedly, price is fair, waiter was nice as well, nice restaurant for the neighborhood

Went to Matter Of Taste for the first time me, my husband and my kids and the food was great we had this young server and she’s super nice and beautiful. Great restaurant and staff. Will be coming back

This place has so many ups and downs it's insane. They really messed up the order today and I'm over it. I don't understand how a burger and fries and French toast equals fish and chips and a coffee getting delivered. There are a total of 3 good thing on the menu. Everything else gets overcooked or isn't seasoned. I'm not returning to this place.

We’ve been here twice and the service and food were excellent! I had a skillet the first time and a club house the second. Very good quality. My only suggestion is to maybe have some music on. It’s very quiet :

5 of us just had dinner. 5 different meals, all amazing. Total bill for 5 before tip $129. Service was amazing and friendly as well. Lots of food for each meal. As Arnie says “I’ll be back”

The food was great but the cleanliness of the restaurant was worrisome especially in covid times. My daughter's knife was dirty it happens I get it but the window sill next to our table was filthy and covered in cobwebs, which tells me it's been a while since it's been cleaned.

We ordered two breakfasts to go. One with bacon one with sausage. We got two with bacon and the potatoes were undercooked. But to be fair the restaurant was packed with a lineup at the door so they were very busy. And they use styrofoam containers for takeout which makes all your food soggy. Not sure I'll get their take out breakfast again but it was my first time in the restaurant and it's a cute little spot
