Mi Sant
"At Mi-Sant Banh Mi Co, we have one simple goal: to deliver you the best quality banh mi with integrity. Banh mi and croissants are our passion hence, the name Mi-Sant. How we got here can be traced back to our roots. We are second-generation Vietnamese American immigrants. Our parents got started in the trade as a means of survival in a foreign country. They worked hard, so we didn’t have to. But here we are – picking up what they started, not because we have to but because we want to. Mi-Sant Banh Mi Co. is a tribute to their years of hard work, homage to their craft, and mostly creating something they can be proud of."

Wowow!! What an awesome restaurant!! Came here for some coffee - got the sea cream coffee and a strawberry cream cheese croissant and wow, just wow! So so delicious!! Perfectly flaky and chewy croissant and I can taste the power of the coffee!! Also just such great vibes!! Servers are super nice and a really fresh and modern atmosphere, I could spend hours here working or just hanging out! Also their lunch food looks delicious, can’t wait to come back for their Vietnamese specials- I may even come back later today..! Definitely a new fav for the metro area!! 10/10!
Love the bowls here and Bahn Mi sandwiches are great too! Meat has that tasty char taste to it with a good balance of Vietnamese flavors. Don't forget to ask for patte on your sandwich, because they do not come standard on all of the sandwiches.
Yum yum yum. Easy to find restaurant. The atmosphere is chic and upbeat with lovely plant decor. The staff is super friendly. We ordered: kimchi bulgogi fries so freaking good, the sauce and flavors remind me know dynamite sushi rolls, mi sant special Bahn mi and thr mi sand special bowl with noodles. The sandwich reminds me of the fresh ones I had when visiting Vietnam. Highly recommend this place, prices are very reasonable and large sizes. Don't be fooled by the photos of the bowls they are about 4"deep. Will def be back. And I ordered a red guava/lychee/strawberry bubble tea made with aloe vera- so sooooo good
You MUST eat here The bread is flakey, crispy, soft, buttery. The special banh mi has egg in it and we HIGHLY recommend it. It's easily shareable! The croissants are huge! They are also perfectly flakey and buttery with the perfect amount of filling and the coffee was blended and not too sweet **not pictured: Special Banh Mi sandwich, coconut croissant and Vietnamese iced coffee.....because we smashed it all IMMEDIATELY**
I run errands in Roseville fairly often and had recently noticed Mi-Sant while I was out and about. My husband I happened to be over that way yesterday, and decided to check it out. SO GLAD we did! Wow, this place is fantastic! We got an early dinner, and everything we tried was fantastic. I got the Mi-Sant Special bowl with rice, my husband got banh mi, and we shared an order of spring rolls. We really like Thai and Vietnamese food, and were very impressed with the freshness of the spring rolls and how flavorful they were. And the springs rolls are MASSIVE. Three of those was more than we could eat along with our meal. I've eaten at other Vietnamese places were the rice is dry and the meat is overcooked and hard to chew. But the bowl I had at Mi-Sant was fabulous - soft rice, with vegetables that were perfectly cooked, and tender flavorful meat. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much meat they add to the bowls as well. The Mi-Sant Special bowl comes with an eggroll eaten immediately before I thought to take a picture and an egg along with the generous serving of meat and vegetables. My husband said the banh mi he got was flavorful and very well balanced, and he said the bread had that perfect crispy outer layer with the interior staying soft. I also ordered the strawberry matcha latte and again, it was perfect. The matcha isn't overly sweetened, the strawberry puree sweetening the drink without being too sugary. We also loved the interior of the restaurant and how relaxing and welcoming it is. We sat in the "sun room" area where there are couches and plants. While darkness had already fallen by the time we were eating, I can imagine how lovely it would be to sit on a couch in the sunshine and enjoy a nice lunch there. This is definitely going to be my new favorite lunch spot to meet people at, and I'm just bummed I didn't stop in sooner!
Hidden gem in Roseville First time coming here. I didn't expect to see what I saw when I went to this restaurant because of the location. It was very open and had a chill coffeeshop vibe to it. We had the classic banh mi and kimchi fries. For the banh mi, I loved the freshness of the bread and how all the different ingredients were super simple but just worked together really well. Just a great standard banh mi for a great price. The kimchi fries was piping hot when it was ready for us. Even with the sauces and the kimchi topping, the fries still had that crunch. Not pictured is the iced passion fruit green tea, which is really refreshing for the summer. I loved all of it. Overall, I've tasted these flavors at other restaurants, but I really appreciated how it was all executed here. We didn't wait long for our food - maybe 15 minutes - and we had a buzzer to tell us when the food was ready. They had bakery items that we can't wait to try next time we visit.
Just too good to be true. It’s been a while since I’ve had a well made banh mi, and this place does not disappoint. Coming from Washington it’s seriously delicious. Ordered a few sandwiches and loved the quick service ordered ahead and cleanliness. The restaurant smelled really good. Husband got the classic sandwich which he enjoyed, I got the bulgogi kimchi and flavors blended so well. I also loved the crunch from the baguette. Perfect consistency. Fresh veggies were also perfectly pickled. Grabbed some pastries too bonus!. Done ranting, go eat here.
Amazing food, love their Bahn mi's and spring rolls. I had Mi Sant Special which is pork and was savory and delicious. My friend had the Bulgogi Kimchi Ban MI which was sweeter and not my favorite but still very good. We split the spring rolls which came individually wrapped in plastic. The sant Special spring rolls where Amazing. I got the peanut and vinaigrette sauces, the peanut sauce was good but the vinaigrette was the way to go IMHO. 2 of the 3 spring rolls exploded while eating them, adding a different complexity. Worth the challenge. Based on their website, I thought they were just offering take out but there were some tables dining in when I picked up my order.
Visited during the soft opening. The orders were a bit behind, but that's to be expected so I didn't take that into account in my rating. I had a lemon grass chicken bowl with citrus soy sauce. The size of the food for the price was fairly on point for the area. The ingredients all seemed fresh. The flavors were in point for me. I did have the noodle option with my bowl, but the noodles seemed a bit water-logged perhaps that's just the style of noodle. The flavors were good enough that I look forward to visiting again and seeing how they do. Although, I will probably not get the noodles in the bowl again. Since writing the initial review I have gone back multiple times for their croissants. The croissants are consistently baked well, light, and buttery. They have a variety of filling options to choose from. The filling is balanced and doesn't drown out the flavor and texture of the actual pastry.
Beautiful clean space, prompt and pleasant service, reasonable prices. Was extremely impressed with everything. Matcha latte was very sweet, not my style but yummy. My daughter loved her strawberry cream cheese pastry. Banh mi bread is flaky and crusty, exactly what it should be. Spamwich was huge and spot on, they don't burn their spam like everywhere else. Would like to see more unsweetened beverages and vegan options for my partner, and I wish they did something a little more interesting with the mayo a homemade spiced mayo would be next-level. A Viet meatball sandwich would be cool. And hey, since you already have rice and spam in the kitchen, how about some musubi? All around I love this place and will definitely be a regular.
