We recently visited Mexican Amigos in Richmond Hill as a group of 15, including 7 kids, and had a great experience overall. The food quality and taste were excellent, everything we ordered was flavorful and authentic. Although it took a bit longer than expected for the food to arrive, it was well worth the wait because the dishes were truly delicious.nDespite being a Sunday night, the restaurant wasn’t too busy, and they were able to accommodate our large party at a big table without any hassle. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a charming Mexican-style interior that added to the dining experience. The small bar inside had a decent variety of alcoholic beverages, which was a nice touch.nThe service was good overall. Most of the staff were polite and attentive, although one of the waiters seemed a little tired or disengaged, which affected the level of connection at times. However, this didn’t take away from the experience significantly, and the rest of the team made sure we were taken care of.nThe only downside is that the prices were on the higher side, but given the quality of the food and the enjoyable ambiance, it felt like a fair trade-off.nIf you're looking for a cozy and authentic Mexican restaurant in the area, Mexican Amigos is definitely worth trying. Just be prepared for a slightly longer wait time if you have a larger group. We’d happily return for another visit!
The highlight of my meal was definitely the lamb soup—it was rich, flavorful, and perfect for warming up on a chilly day. The nachos were a delightful treat, topped with fresh ingredients that really elevated the dish.nnI also tried the three kinds of tacos, and they were absolutely delicious! Each one had its own unique flavor, making it hard to pick a favorite.
Great portions, fun atmosphere, live music and very attentive service staff. Overall highly recommended.nWe had the nachos, sweet potato fries, fajitas, fish tacos, shrimp tacos and a few burrito bowls.nLoved everything on the menu. Guacamole was delicious too.
They offer authentic Mexican cuisine in a lively atmosphere, featuring dishes such as tacos, enchiladas, burritos, and fajitas. The restaurant is also known for its margaritas and birria tacos. Guests can enjoy live music performances every weekend.
Food was pretty good same with the drinks. The service was a little slow because they were busy. There was live music. Definitely would like to check it out in the summer cause they have a nice outdoor patio.
