Mediterranean Cuisine is very much the product of cultural influence and exchange. Here at our new Sofra Grill location in Richmond Hill we pride ourselves on the freshest, best tasting Mediterranean food with Turkish, Egyptian and Israeli influences synonymous for generosity and hospitality. Our dining room and patio are family oriented, casual and comfortable. We serve everything from fresh fish and seafood to vegetarian choices and crowd-pleasing dishes such as shawarma and shish kebobs. We are open 7 days a week with dine in, take out, delivery and catering services. Delicious brunch served every Saturday and Sunday

Ordered take out and enjoyed the food very much! The portions were very generous, nothing overly salty and the the meat was very juicy, nothing was overcooked. Our dishes included the beef skewers with a side of garlic potatoes which were very well roasted and very garlicky and the chicken schwarma dinner with sweet potato fries. Their house salad was also very good with a refreshing salad dressing it seems a bit thick but it goes well on the salad. Highly recommend.
Authentic Mediterranean fare, consistent quality. A little pricy and portion is bit small. The lamb skewers were delicious and juicy. My daughter really loved their potatoes. A nice place for a quick meal.
I wish I could have zero stars...horrible experience. Come here if you want attitude. Their website says that they work till 9 pm. I called them the day before to make a reservation, but they told me that I could come any time. So when we arrived, we were met with a guilt trip, rolled eyes and heavy sighs: they were closing in 15 minutes! I found it completely unacceptable: they should have told me when I called them that they were planning to close earlier that day. On the top of that, the waitress told us that we still had 15 minutes to "enjoy" our dinner. Will never return. Terrible attitude to customers. Save your money and don't go there.
Fabulous staff! Very clean and welcoming. Delicious fresh salads and hot food! I love the mango chicken salad! BEST perogies! Yummy shwarma dinner! Lots of food options.Food: 5/5
Highly recommended. Great food with big portions. Amazing service, friendly staff. I got the chicken skewer dinner and the chicken was so juicy not over cooked. The house salad dressing is a must try and the hummus is probably the best I’ve ever had. Would definitely go back.
one of the best restaurants i’ve been to by far! service is amazing, food was perfect. they also catered my birthday party ; food arrived on time still fresh , the taste was so amazing there was not even leftovers. 10/10 completely recommended!!!!!!
Food was good and atmosphere was good. Make sure you check your bill if you have a larger party. They state they will charge you gratitude of 15%, but they said they changed it to 18%. I don't know how they calculate 18%, but I did get 20% on my bill.
Place is ok. Babaganush is better than most places. If you offer for pick up via Uber prices are much less appealing than direct order/pick up
We ordered schawarma and falafel plate dinner. Both were quite good. However I have never ordered schawarma from any place where we get one tiny hummus for two whole dinners and absolutely no garlic sauce. But they generously gave us 5 pitas. What do I do with all this bread and rice? Please tell me this was just an oversight. When I crave schawarma I'm also craving garlic sauce and hummus. Comon!
Service is slow, some of the patio chairs are broken, the interior is worn off and seems like the management does not care much anymore. The patio was dark and full of mosquitoes and the waitress simply said the lights are broken and not working. Well they could have brought some candles or table lights and not let the customers eat in dark! Not worth the money you pay unfortunately and despite liking the food we will not go back anymore.
