For over a year now, I’ve been keeping an eye on bakery items that are baked in house such as muffins, cookies, croissants, pastries. This location used to be my go to for fresh bakery items. For a year now, no item is ever fresh anymore. Some are sitting on the shelves 11 days past the date they were baked. I thought these fresh baked items were preservative free. There’s no way these items are still good to eat 11 days after being baked in house. Imagine baking cookies at home, having them sit in your kitchen counter and eating them 11 days later. Today is October 30th. The picture clearly shows items baked October 19th.

Excellent quality products! Sometimes you can find fine prices in quality meat packages. I love the Italian coffee Lavazza gold , which reminds me of home. Good standardized red velvet cake! Friendly staff. The food court is really nice and accessible.

That store needs a better management. They have been selling garbage and they don’t even care to fix it.

It is sad and concerning when you have to give a supermarket like “METRO” a bad review.nAs soon as you walk in you cant stop but to notice the empty shelves of produce, the state in which the produce is in rotten and moldy and the lack of hygiene.nAlso noticed how the ceilings have collapsed and been covered with plastic coverings.You can also see the debris all over the shelves and floor.nTried bringing it up to store employees but no one seemed to care.

Clean. Nice layout. Good selection. Visited this location during a busy time but I was pleased to discover all the checkout lanes were open;so service was very speedy.nnNot as big as some other Metro’s in Toronto but still an amazing selection considering the size. The produce section in particular is especially delightful in comparison to other grocery stores in the area.nStaff is friendly. Food is fresh.
