This is a nice park. Situated on 41st Avenue at Ross, the park has many playgrounds. There are areas for baseball diamonds, lacrosse courts and other field games. It is fairly central with good transit services. We often come here to watch little league baseball games. A concession operates during most baseball games.
I really love this park. It’s not crowded and there’s a tiny hidden duck pond with lots of ducks for the little ones. There’s a few picnic tables and trees with shade and benches along the pond. There’s a ton of fields but the playground is really old and made from wood splinters galore. The playground needs a huge update but I don’t mind because I only visit for picnics and to feed the ducks.
This park is always busy every time I come by. The tennis courts were packed today but the weather was great so I'm not surprised.
Excellent place for your daily walk or fitness at an outdoor setting. Good running track and multiple other activities and it is just on prime location
Decent park, really nice soccer field. However, the washrooms are very far and hard to find, and the lights for the field don’t turn on automatically you might have to book the field for them to turn on?.
Memorial South Park is one of lovely parks in Vancouver area. so love this park. It is massive with beautiful tall trees and has a Running track too. There are different types of stadiums for sports, barbecue tables, swings, slides and small ponds. It is very huge and peaceful one to have fun with people you love.
I had a random visit here. I took a friend’s son to his football match and saw the nice view, calm neighbourhood and plenty of space for physical activities.
My Favourite place is Safari Park. This is the most beautiful park in our area. I go to the park every day in the evening and in the morning. I go for a walk in the park. I enjoy coming to the park and listening to the elders. There are many flowers and trees in this park. Many people come to this park from far away. I also play flopball in the park with my friends. By coming here the fatigue of the mind is removed. I enjoy spending my time in this park.
Huge park offering something for everyone. You can walk, run, jog or just sit in the nature. Slides for kids. Great place for some nice evenings.
South Vancouver's sports megaplex. Featuring a professional astroturf soccer field with huge stadium lighting, a lacrosse box, a ballpark with decent bleachers, a cricket field, a track & field oval, four tennis courts, various other track & field facilities, and a new outdoor gym equipment area. There are numerous playing fields for soccer baseball, or other activities. Aside from sports, there is a picnic area next to a duck pond with charcoal bbq's available for use, and a nice little playground with swing sets. When you head toward the track oval, the old clubhouse, greenery, and people playing cricket give the park kind of a Victorian feel. This is adjacent to the cenotaph, memorializing those who died in WWI, and subsequent wars, and where the park gets its name. There is a large wreath-laying ceremony here every November 11th. If you enter from 41st Ave and Windsor St, you walk/drive down a long, narrow road, lined with tall oak trees, leading to the cenotaph directly ahead, which the road circles. It is impressively laid out, and adds to the sombre mood of the memorial.
