Melina's Family Restaurant

Such a lovely place, very fast and prompt with the food. Good food. After observing the waitresses I noticed that they are so kind and friendly with everyone. Such great attitudes. They are very attentive to you with knowing what you might need or refilled before your drink is empty. I would highly suggest this place to anyone. One thing to note is that are CASH ONLY but don't worry if you forgot your cash because they have an ATM inside.nnI got the special #1 and my husband got the breakfast wrap

While visiting Port Colborne, we decided to have lunch at this Family Restaurant. The place was actually bigger than it looks when you first walk in. It was a popular place and there was a bit of a lineup, but it moved quickly. They had both a breakfast and lunch menu, so lots to choose from. We decided to get the spinach & feta cheese omelette ... and an order of Eggs Benedict. The home fries that came with the meals were really good, however, the English muffins under the Eggs Benedict were a little burnt on the bottom. Also, their brewed coffee was not the best. Having said that, it was still an enjoyable meal with excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere. Was reminiscent of restaurants I have visited in the States with wholesome home-cooked meals. Very satisfying and filling. Just a heads up though ... they only accept cash and they close at 2, ... but there is an ATM machine right on the premises. I recommend going here if you're in the area and don't know where to eat.

Cozy restaurant with generous portions and reasonable prices. The food we ordered was very good, esp. the pork souvlaki. Highly recommend when you are in the area.

Melina's is hands down the best place in the Niagara Region for breakfast. And perhaps the best place in all of Ontario.nWe have been going to Melina's for years and not once have they disappointed.nAnd one of there best things is they are open early. Most places do not open until 8nBut Melina's opens at 6amnI love thatnKeep up the good work
