The Gourmet Restaurant

All food is delicious, especially the general tap chicken and lemon chicken! All the food was warm, and not too hot. Our server always came around to give us extra water and napkins when we needed it. Definitely go for the buffet on the weekend!

Yes it is small buffet but I believe it was quality or quantity. New to the area and I think we found our go to spot. They had a good mix of traditional food. You can’t complain about the price $12.50, same as getting a Big Mac meal but you definitely will feel better after, good bang for your hard earned buck. A drink is a pop can for $2 and my rum and Coke can with glass/ice with rum in it was $6. My wife and I went on a Friday at 6 busy line for take out. Not much people for buffet but I am good with that. I rather a small buffet with quality to fill my stomach at a perfect price point any day. Definitely will be visiting again. UPDATE: we did go again, Buffet is only Friday, Sat and Sun for dinner. Website is wrong.

Great food! We love the takeout. Awesome Singapore Noodles. We prefer this for our task out. Have tried the others by mistake and though something must have change, then realized we ordered from the wrong location...won't make that mistake again!

First time here, the place was clean, the atmosphere was good, it could have been a bit warmer inside. The food was delicious, I ordered the lemon chicken. It was very tasty and brought to us quickly, but portions and reasonable prices. I would eat here again

My husband and I love this restaurant. We try to go at least one a month for either take out or the buffet. The owner is very nice, she always takes the time to make sure we are satisfied. Great place and reasonably priced.

We love this place. The food is fantastic and they always make vegetarian dishes for us, sometimes even off the menu! We always get take out but never have to wait and it's always steaming hot. Only Chinese Food restaurant in Port Colborne that we order from now. Never disappointed! o:

Love this restaurant! The lady running it has worked there for years shes so sweet. For canal days we walked in and she was supposed to close the buffet but she actually let us continue it was super kind of her!

We order every Friday on the way home from work. Never disappointed a diamond in the rough!!! Sometimes your looking for a place that takes care of their customer and good food without all the glitz and glamour that you pay for at other places. Will never eat anywhere else for Chinese in Port.

Where to begin, I had to give a star rating; sadly negative stars aren't allowed. Lemon chicken and chicken balls should NOT look almost identical. Same batter and both were overly deep fried. The lemon chicken was not premixed in the sauce...which ended up going into the garbage, due to it being so over cooked/batter. Chicken and mushroom had a ridiculous amount of garlic that's all I could taste No plum sauce for egg rolls... needless to say this place will never see another dollar from me.

The Gourmet Restaurant in Port Colborne is a must for Chinese Food lovers. With a 12.00 all you can eat dinner buffet, I find myself there 3 or 4 times a month. Wonderful staff. The decor is a little "cheesy" but that's part of the reason I like it so much. It feels authentic. Highly recommend the buffet. The food not offered at the buffet is even better!
