What a nice place! Never heard of it and only tried it because of the Google reviews. It was good food, the juiciest pork chop, even the kids like it. Good value kids meal, with entree, aide, pop and ice cream. Great service, very attentive and polite. Decent prices, good variety of entrees, good service, makes 5 stars! I would eat here again and recommend it to friends. It's a bit hard to find the entrance, but it's tucked in behind the Seymour Pub. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu, word search with crayons to keep them busy Parking: Lots of parking with the hotel, more than 50 spots. Dietary restrictions: Accommodated my allergies to gluten, egg, dairy with veggies instead.
Just had Christmas luncheon with 35 people at Medley’s. Many who attended said the food were Awesome and service was wonderful. The portions were surprisingly big. I ordered a Neptune Steak medium rare with Lobster, it was done perfectly. I would highly recommend this restaurant either for large company party or family gathering. The atmosphere was spacious and there were plenty of windows to provide good ambiance :
Extensive menu, each dish expertly prepared and plated. Delicious curry mussels appetizer, lamb shank dinner, snapper dinner, prime rib dinner with red velvet cheese cake dessert. Wonderfully friendly host.
I've read the reviews before coming to this place and I'm in awed of the negative reviews. We've been here for almost a week and had dinners and lunch everyday and this place is top notch. The people leaving bad reviews are probably people that don't eat out often because there is real disaster out there. First of all, yes it's pricey but it's Vancouver Canada? What do people expect. Expect to pay anywhere from 20-40 Canadian USD per person. The servers and waiters are very knowledgeable and know their food. The food is good everything from the kids fries to the steaks and pastas. I highly recommend the pasta di marre with garlic panini I could not get enough of that. The portion are more than ok and trust me you will be filled after. If you're staying in the hotel, kids eat free and you get anywhere from 10-15% off the total bill. I will really miss this place when we head back to Cali because they are very professional at this place. Disregard those nasty reviews, this place is bomb I highly recommend this place. Kid-friendliness: Offer kids menu and coloring menu. Kids eat free if staying in the hotel. Parking: Plenty of parking.
My first time at this amazing eatery in North Vancouver, it was everything my friend told me and more. I ordered the Nashville Chicken dish. It was mouth-watering delicious!! I could not finish it all and took a doggie-bag for later in the evening and it tasted even better! I definitely will return to this remarkable restaurant.
Gave it a shot because it was in our hotel. Pros: Portion size was amazing for the price. Lots of variety on the menu. Cons: Food is too salty and too spicy for meals that should not be spicy. I ordered Caesar salad as an appetizer that had way too much powdered Parmesan on it making it very salty. My boyfriend had some popcorn chicken as an appetizer that was good, very basic. We were craving pasta dishes, I had gnocchi with chicken and he had spaghetti and meatballs from the “Italian menu”. I don’t mind spicy food so a little spice in the pasta sauce didn’t bother me, however it was very salty and my chicken was so spicy I was sweating. My boyfriend does not like spicy food and did not expect a simple spaghetti and meatball to be spicy. He did not enjoy his food 1 bit. I tried a meatball to see how it tasted and it was spicy with Indian flavours within it. We will not be going back. Shouldn’t be serving Italian food that does not taste Italian.
Well the food was very ordinary, my friend’s dish was so salty he had to smother it with catchup to mask it, mine was pretty much flavourless, the service was bad , the decor was depressing and two of the people working there kept arguing behind our table the whole time we were there about the deliveries, was comical but so unprofessional, don’t waste your time. For the manager don’t even waste your time replying to me , just fix your restaurant!
Ate here the first time because it was late but returned because of the food!! Probably the most surprising restaurant I've been to in North Van!! The whole meal was tasty and likely the most affordable prices I've seen in Vancouver!! To top it off the server was really polite and decent for a young guy. I recommend trying it! Only thing I wasn't a fan of was the spice in the lasagna but at least it wasn't so bland you were bored eating it like most places.
Ordered through door dash... chicken tenders were over cooked... almost black ... Nashville fries were flavorless soggy and no taste. Everything else was just blah. I had heard good things ... but a huge disappointment.
Two of us had dinner at Medley's Grill and were pleasantly surprised. We've visited this restaurant space in the Holiday Inn a number of times over the years without being impressed. Our August 2021 visit was different. The uncrowded room was pleasant and the servers were prompt and attentive. We shared a samosa appetizer, then she enjoyed a chicken teriyaki bowl and I had the grilled BBQ pork chop with mashed potatoes and creamed corn. The pork was excellent, still moist and lightly sauced. We carried home desserts for later. Key lime pie was okay but the cheese cake was a fail—grainy, not smooth and creamy. Dinner prices were reasonable, the food and service good, so we thought it was good value and will return. Returned 2 weeks later and happy we did. Samosas were excellent, a choice between gentle savoury flavours and nicely spiced fillings, accompanied by sweet chili sauce and coconut mint chutney. My shrimp curry cannelloni was unique. A satisfying fusion of European and South Asian styles, but more Indian than Italian. I loved it.
