The wait list was about 2.5 hours long for walk-ins but we put ourselves in via the Yelp wait list. Once there we only waited about 20 minutes to be seated and boy was it worthwhile. Some of the best Eggs Benedict I've had. I consider Eggs Benedict as one of the benchmarks for a decent breakfast place, and OEB passes with high marks all around. Very friendly wait staff and while we had no issues with our order, the table next to us did, and was sorted out very quickly. Great coffee was only the tip of the iceberg for us. Great experience overall.
Perfect for a weekend morning. Great food and service. Unlimited Refill of coffee and a big menu with delicious options. Some of them a little bit pricey but they worth because the quality of ingredients, all organic. If you arrive early before 10 you can find a table quickly, otherwise be prepared to wait a little.
I had a really great experience today in this spot. The food and the hot chocolate were amazing. The rib poutine was so tasty and full of flavors. the crepe served with fresh fruits and delicious whipping cream. Great service with friendly staff. Special thanks to our host SAMANTHA. She was so nice, kind and professional. I'll definitely go there again.
It's rare that I'll actually go out to a breakfast joint anywhere in the world for eggs and potatoes but OEM is an exception. Unlike the downtown version, there is a ton of parking in the area. We never had a massive wait in the pouring rain this time around and I am thankful compared to our experience last year. The food was phenomenal as always! We had the poutines, the crepes, the Benedicts and about every single drink on the menu and each was almost better than the last. The service was killer as I have grown to expect and every single server was a Rockstar. My only complaint is how expensive everything has gotten. I understand supply chains and other nonsense going on in the world, but 25 dollars for a breakfast dish is just out of this world. The same meal is probably up by around 7-8 dollars compared to a year ago. Cest al vie. It's delicious!
It was weekdays and we didn't faced waiting line to be seated. Although there was a sign outside request to make reservations on the busy days. Finding street side parking is something you have to consider it as the business is near the Lonsdale busiest part. The food, and persons working there were very good. My Egg Benedict was served as exactly as I expected. Fruits were chosen freshly and coffee was well brewed. There was no picture of the dishes in the menu which I can say as a suggestion that could help customers to choose easier.
As really excited to try seeing any friends hashtagging OEB. The names and description of each items look very tempting to try and order them all! The two we tried were a bit heavy and creamy on the side! A mixture of something different in taste would have made the experience better! Servers are friendly and super busy!!
Finally came here for brunch! : This location has many street parkings around so it was pretty convenient to come here. Food: We had the crab benny and the Avocado & Tuna burger. They were so good!! The burger was perfect, filled with almost everything I love: the tuna and avocado were so fresh and so delicious, it was such a healthy and amazing burger. The benny actually have crab meat in it, decent size and nicely cooked. Although the seasoning was a bit light to my taste, not as good as the burger but it was overall good. Drinks: For drinks we ordered mango juice and mimosa, the mimosa tasted like water with orange, how dare they charge $9??!! The mango juice tasted like the ones we bought from Costco. Nothing surprising just pricey drinks ‍ Overall: 3.5/5 The decor was cute and chic to take photos; washroom is clean; service was attentive and quickly. However, a bit pricey for just a brunch meal. But I would come back for their burgers‍
Walked in and place was busy but surprisingly able to get a table right away. Their other locations have had to wait a very long time, so counted myself lucky. Food was great as always, can never go wrong with a weekend brunch at OEB. Will be returning for sure.
Worth the wait… Food was amazing and staff was super efficient. I joined waitlist in Yelp app which was very helpful. Staff was friendly despite being incredibly busy. The food was amazing, taste likes boutique brunch I can not believe this was a chain restaurant. My soul in a bowl poutine was amazing love that you can half the potatoes and add arugula.. this left me more room for dessert the decadent do not even go there crepe. I will be back for sure!
OEB ranks in my top 10 breakfast/brunch spots in North Van! The food is always amazing, the staff are kind and attentive with top notch service! The food options are endless and they do nothing less than top notch food. Highly suggest getting a breakfast poutine! Pair that with a flight of mimosas or one of the best gin Caesars you’ve had! 10/10 would recommend. Call ahead or go online to reserve a table.
