Medicus Family Health Clinic and Pharmacy

Three of my kids are with Dr. Oliva. The BEST pediatrician we've ever had for our kids. She will make sure your kids are well checked and taken care of. She will also empower parents to be the best caregiver for their children. She'll go above and beyond to ensure the best care possible. Thank you Dr. Oliva! And kudos as well to the staff!

Dr. Silvano at this clinic is the most unhelpful doctor I have ever seen. She discriminates against people for using narcotics. She seems to think that she can pick and choose who she helps and who she doesn't. I thought doctors in Alberta work for us? I thought they worked for our healthcare system which is run by the provincial government, controlled by an elected group of people..? Her and another doctor, somewhere in Windermere, forget his name - she tried to refer me to him - won't help you or take you in as a patient if you have an addiction or problem with narcotics whatsoever. She was very clear about that - if you are using narcotics, neither of these doctors will help you. I think this attitude is disgusting coming from a doctor. She is supposed to be helping people and instead she turns them away, likely doing more harm than good. For one, addiction is largely a mental health issue and doctors, especially General Practitioners, need to start acknowledging that. Sending them away and refusing to help them, impacts them negatively and compounds their addictions. I don't use narcotics so it didn't impact me personally, I just went to get the help I needed from someone else. I think she looked at me and assumed that I used narcotics because I have kind of a "skater" look. It was very inappropriate, to say the least. But for me, all she did was waste my time. However, other people might not be so lucky. Shame on you, Dr. Silvano.

Thanks to the PrimeMD staff, they were kind and took good care of me, especially Dra. Jennifer Reiss, thank you, she's really kind, since then I've liked her, she's really kind, like an angel, she really listens to her patients.Keep up the good work & God Bless you all.Thank you again

The front end staff here are amazing! Shout out to Amy and the rest of the crew. Even in my panicked state they did everything they could to accommodate me and help me out. Thank you so much. I moved Northside but will continue coming here : I typically deal with Dr. Zara, she is currently on mat. leave. I would also give her 5 stars! The staff and my current doctor, Dr. Looepy are great. The front end staff is very good at getting back to you. Obviously with doctors offices things have gone wrong, but they are always quick to rectify situations that arise and don't past blame. Always very kind and polite. I needed an appointment very urgently and they were able to assist me with that. I have had nothing but good experiences dealing with the people at Medicus family clinic!

Located on 91 street, Medicus health clinic is fairly a new clinic. Clinic is well furnished and maintained. Nurses and receptionists are polite. Dr. Reiza Zara has been my doctor since 2018. She is such a wonderful person, listen to your concerns patiently and always try to make herself available on the same day over the call or in person in case of any emergency.

Dr. Zara is fantastic. My whole family goes to her. She really listens and makes you feel like she cares. We moved an hour away from Edmonton and we still go to Medicus Family Health Clinic because Dr. Zara is irreplaceable!

DR Zara is super amazing. I am so glad my family and I have her in our corner. She is a great listener, she is thorough, she is detailed in her examination and feedback and she has such a great Aura. Thank you for giving my family and I hope that there are still great doctors out there who take pride in connecting with their patients and showing kindness. You rock!!!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Zara Reiza for almost a year now and she is an amazing doctor. She is very prompt, which is a god sent for anyone that has a tight schedule during working hours. She listens to your problems and goes over and thoroughly explains diagnosis and treatment plans. I get a sense that she is very careful, and feel my health is in good hands. Can’t express how grateful I am to have finally found a kind and caring doctor.

I came today for my check up with Dr. Silvano I liked Dr. SIlvano she is very accommodating I will definitely recommend her, but the reason why I gave one star is one of the receptionist who attended my call was so rude. She just simply hanged up the phone on me. I'm not even done talking yet. She should be polite and must know the customer service ethics.

They made us get a referral to have my daughter transfer to one of their doctor. They asked how old my daughter was. We went to medicentre to get a referral, waited for 45min. And when medicentre contacted PrimeMD to have my daughter transferred to them, they said they could not accept my daughter because she is 1 yr old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Such a waste of time! Please be professional on giving information!
