Imagine Health Centres - Windermere

Every time I call to book an appointment, they always put me on hold for more than 10 minutes. It's either they will put you on hold for a very long time or they will hang up on you. What a waste of time! It happened to my brother as well. And last time, I had to go to the clinic just to book an appointment and the lady at the reception put whoever called on hold just to do something that is not really important than the patients or just to talk to their co-workers. And this one white lady was very arrogant and unprofessional. Other than that, pharmacy is only the good thing in here, the rest is so bad. This clinic needs to train their workers to be respectful, patient, and nice. If they hate working with people or patients, they shouldn't be working at a clinic!

This has got to be the worst health Centre ever. My doctor had moved to this clinic and I had tried to book appointment for refills ever since December. They told me to call in January since my doctor was new and not available. I called in January, February… every time I got this rude person on the phone that seems to think I was calling looking for donations. I asked to speak to me doctor or to get her to call me. Nothing worked. The reason was she didn’t have my file. Later on I found out she does not need a file to book an appointment. Anyways, the last two times I called the rude receptionist hang up on me. I figure I would try one last time and I talked to Sarah. She seem like a person that new her job. She booked me right away and without issues. There’s more to tell. But I figure people should know if it wasn’t for my doctor that was there I would have never called there after the first time. Whoever owns this place should seriously reconsider its staff dealing with public.

Went to this walkin clinic as it says on website. 3 different sets of hours between website, office and miss cranky pants on the office. Rude, asked if had appointment, and we didn't. Would not take my grandson in. This is where my daughter has gone for 10 years. Not impressed. If you can't deal with people on a much nicer tone, you should not be employed there.

Reception is very unprofessional, if you speak to a different MOA they always give you a different answer to your question. One of the girls have absolutely no phone manners, and is very rude. You are always placed on hold and they never get back to you in a timely fashion. Yes, I understand the office can get busy but there is always three of them sitting at the front desk.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Takla for a year. We are always able to see him when needed. He is thorough and has made referrals to specialists when necessary. We are very satisfied with the level of care.

Best clinic I have ever attended in and out in 15 mins most times. Dr. Talka is awesome. Keep up the good work.

This clinic is so frustrating. You have to wait in hold every time you call and it’s usually over a 20 minute hold time. Reception is extremely rude, i’m surprised they have not done something about it as all the reviews say the same thing.

I have been seeing Dr. Takla for the last few months. I usually don't have to wait long to get in to see him and he's been nothing but helpful. I have recommended this clinic to a few friends who are looking for a new doctor.

I had a meet and greet appointment with Dr Takla. I went in to get a prescription for a cervical cap and a family doctor referral to the LGBTQ Wellness clinic's gynecology program. He argued with me that I could get the cap from the pharmacy where I had to pull up My Alberta Health and verbatim read that they're available through family doctors and require two appointments. He said that he didn't know that - he doesn't do "female medicine" and he doesn't do any female related procedures like pap smears. Can you refer me the clinic, they gave me the form you need to fill out. He cut me off. Told me that unless he assessed I needed surgery, he couldn't refer me to a gynecologist, I needed to see his other male colleague for the exam and fitting. I'm still horrified and violated from sharing why I needed a referral and this doctor being completely disrespectful with my health information. Avoid.

Booked myself and my husband for 2 months advance for as a new patient. Called me 1 month in telling me your appointment is canceled because the doctor is not accepting new patients?!?!? So why was I booked and given a date for appointment 2 months later if you guys were not accepting patients? Unprofessional and unethical, negligent. Do not recommend. The explanation the receptionist gave me was “I am new here and I’m just doing what I have been told”.
