McMaster Children's Hospital - Hamilton Health Sciences

Been this place 2 times and after waiting 8 hours in total at the emergency, a spoon of syrup were given and was charged 1000 $ ... thanks God my daughter didn't need an operation which would most probably cost me a million dollar ... I am at least lucky that they didn't charge me for the oxygen I consumed inside the hospital ..

really enjoyed the crumpets they served on Halloween. my friend recently stayed in this hospital and she said your nuggets taste like bricks., but i am willing to put that all behind me because the courtyards smelled like home. i look forward to my next visit. recently, my little brothers friends cousins aunt had to take her dogs cousins owners kids to mcmaster and she said it was just amazing. the water was especially clean and she said the staff was also very kind. the kids received dirty Popsicles after their iv was dropped in the sink. the toilet wouldn't flush. but that's okay,, i had great soup on Friday.

McMaster has become very low in Labour and Delivery. They have a high ratio of csections. Nurses watch your progress from a screen at the desk. Everyone is epidural happy. They wait until situations are emergency in nature and then perform csections. I witnessed 3 in less than 8 hours. And no, they weren't high risk. They made them high risk with their lack of labouring knowledge. They lose reports, waste time and interfere with the parenting bond. They are not the cornerstone of care as they beg for your money. Also, not a fountain in sight. They make at least an extra $3000 in parking, food and water to concerned families

We were blown away by the children’s hospital. They were so kind to our son who has special needs and dealt with him amazingly. All the doctors were calm, genuine and professional and were really impressed with how fast we were in and out.

Long wait in emergency but good service and professional doctors. Audiology Department stuff are wonderful and organized as well as the doctors.
