Service was extremely slow during a busy period of time dinner on a Thursday and there was only one staff member at the desk who was befuddled, putting it nicely. The printers did not work in several of the automatic machines nor at the counter and it didn't seem like anyone knew how to fix them. It also appeared that the play place is closed for whatever reason and there are not happy meal toys so prepare for a revolt from your children if you come here. There is a Burger King location up the road that looks to be opening soon, so try there instead. Very unimpressed by this location and it does not even meet the standards of the Edmonton Trail location in Airdrie, Alberta and THAT place gets your order wrong 75 per cent of the time.
I'm not going back to complain about measly French fries. When people pay for large, leave the drive thru after being handed the bag, they generally assume they'll get what they paid for. Not here, not ever again either.
Locked the doors and say they are closed at 9:40pm but my mobile order was already in. No one in this town works till the end of the shift. Mr. Mikes did the exact same thing.
So while the restaurant advertises a 24 hour drive thru, both here on Google maps and at the location, when I arrived here January 30 at 10:15 pm there were milk crates blocking both lanes of the drive thru. Guess the advertised availability is a cruel trick Hinton McDonalds has decided to play on people passing through. From the front window one could see that there were multiple employees inside, so I would have to deduce that they just didn't want to do their jobs. If this is the quality of service to be expected at this location rest assured I won't ever try to come back, and think it only reasonable to warn others of the same. EDIT: After pulling around the front, witnessing staff milling around inside, and then back into the parking lot, someone came out and opened up a lane.
I'm not sure how you can make an egg McMuffin meal taste bad, but they did. Asked for my usual 3 sugar in an large americano and it tasted like they dumped 5 or 6 in it. Definitely not eating here againFood: 2/5
Ever since it went through its recent renovation the service is dropped through the floor all the experienced friendly staff have been replaced by rude and incompetent staff. They advertise a 24hr drive through and yet they seem to close at whatever time they please it is never the same. If your craving McDonald's you may want to make the commute from hinton to edson.
I live in town and only time I go to McDonald's is when I work ot or coming in late from an event, these guys advertise drive thru 24hrs and it's never open I can't say how many times iv showed up and it's closed and on here says 24hrs hmm I think it's pure laziness plain and simple there's no way you advertise and for a whole year your short handed fix your management or pull your darn signs down not rocket science
I mean honestly it's a mcdonald's but this place had fresh tasting food and meat was better than what we get in Edmonton / sherwood park where I'm from, kinda greasy but that's how it should be at mcdonald's. Workers were nice and food came fast.
Visited in our way to Edmonton. Nice and different designs Playplace which my kids like them. Breakfast was warm and fresh. Just I wonder when I reordered McMorning Wrap few minutes after 11 AM, that was not available. One of the rare McDonald's with separate bin for recycling garbage.
It was adequate. Food arrived fast, was good - [ tearing up ] they even had vinegar for fries like 20 years ago when we ate at a Canadian McDonald's last ... I mean, it was almost a spiritual experience to eat hash browns flavored with that vinegar. Toilets were dirty, hubby said "Entire bunch of seat protectors were just dumped on the floor and stomped on", but son said "It's McDonald's, what did you expect?". There was garbage outside in open bins that was being pulled apart by ravens. Cool because I have not seen ravens from up close but come on guys, you should really cover up your garbage bins.
