I have to say, all car dealerships only want to rip your money away with their horrible service department.nI have a brand new 2024 car, bought in November 2023.nI noticed a couple months later that the driver door is not properly aligned with the car it is tilted upwards, which is causing the door to need to be forced a bit more to close.nthe alignment is not something you notice quickly, unless you're really fixated on the door and see it.nI went in to the dealership to get this checked out, when the mechanic comes back saying that the door had an accident for this happen. His reasoning ? He saw small bumps on the lower interior of the door , FROM THE INSIDE.nI had never been in an accident before, and he had no proof that what he is saying is true, he just wanted a reason to blame me to pay for the repairs from my own pocket, although this is a manufacturer defect covered in my warranty.nWhat he was saying made zero sense, if something had bumped my door from the bottom, there would be a visible scratch on the bottom of the door or on the outside, NOT ON THE INSIDE!!nAfter making a scene, the manager of the service department called me the next day, saying the same thing her mechanic said, refusing to admit that this is a defect.nTo add to this, the manager has no mechanical experience, how the hell does a dealership allow people like her to make decisions ?nI asked to transfer this to Mazda Canada for a decision, which she agreed to.n10 minutes later I get a call from the Director of service himself. I thought well, maybe someone with decent human logic will understand. But to my disappointment, no, he said the same thing over and over again, blaming the client.nThey had no decency to admit that they are wrong, nor do they care about client service, they care about sucking the money out of you.nI went to 2 other mechanics outside of dealerships, spent at least 300$ on examination fees, and BOTH mechanics confirmed that this was a manufacturer defect.none of the mechanics was able to fix it within 10 minutes, of course charging me a considerable amount.nIf Mazda PAT have any human decency, they would refund me for my wasted time, gaz and unnecessary check ups I did for something they could've easily fixed on the spot.nIn summary, one of the worst customer service ever, and their director and manager of service are both rude as hell.
We have been to multiple dealerships in the past couple weeks, the salesman Joseph Paul was by far the most informative and patient. We had a wonderful time including some laughs. We have ended up leaving with a very fair deal and are excited to continue doing business with them.
Very honest people, you feel welcomed and valued at this Mazda dealer. Nancy is very professional in the service department. They actually take you to the vehicle to show you the issue. It will be our new dealer for new cars and great honest service. Merci Nancy.
