I liked the place a lot and my date also enjoyed it. Very friendly staff and our server was amazing and very helpful and professional. The food was great. I had the mouthed watering lamp chops and my date had the Cornish hen. We had also 2 appetizers, the fog flat bread was very unique and we had spinach artichoke dip which was pretty good. The dessert was good too. Defiantly will come back to this place again. On top of that the view was beautiful. Thanks for great experience
Very good food , excellent service from Konrad. For some reason their wifi-only works for one hour. I guess they want you to eat quickly and leave. Also when they validate parking it doesn't allow you enough time to visit the beautiful rooftop bar upstairs. After looking at the rooftop area, when we tried to exit the garage, it said our validation wasn't for a long enough period. At those prices, that shouldn't happen. A wonderful venue nevertheless!
Enjoyable food options here at Maxx’s Kitchen at Hotel X. We didn’t get a chance for breakfast, but had lunch here twice. Lots of options on the menu including a selection of healthy eating choices. Best thing we ate was the falafel sandwich. Really good. Weird that the Aviation cocktail is made with Hendricks and not Aviation gin. Undecided? Start with the fries- they’re very good here.
A great restaurant with solid tasting food and vibrant atmosphere. I got the chicken drummets and my brother got the prime rib burger with fries. Both tasted great and our server brought out the food in good time. At the end we had to go get our server to bring over the bill and pay. This restaurant definitely needs more servers as our was overworked.
This is an excellent little restaurant with a good variety on its menu. We had a larger group and everyone’s dish was well prepared and well presented. The level of service was also good and there was not a long wait. The only downsides, the space is very open and as a result noisy. It is also somewhat expensive. Not that the food is not well prepared but you are paying hotel restaurant prices.
Nice restaurant hidden inside a fancy hotel, with a great view of the lake and interesting decor. The breakfast was quite good... A tad pricey, but nothing that will leave you living in a cardboard box. Friendly service for the most part. You wouldn't naturally find this place just by walking around, but it's worth it to go of you're looking for something new that has lots of options.
Dinner here for first time all because of the Cirque du Soieil at Ontario Place, food portion was relatively small, but both of us were not too hungry, so they are just right! Must try sweet potato frites. Make sure check with the manager how to waved off your parking fee.
I went for a birthday dinner but the kitchen were closed before I got there. The food wasn't really looking fresh, they only hard burgers & salads and I wasn't interested in all that. So I decided to take some pictures with friends.
Good gluten free flat bread Stilton, balsamic , apple, and spicy pecans, caramelized carrots, and fries. Decent cocktails.
Trendy looking breakfast spot in the newly constructed Hotel X. Fair food prices for a chic hotel in that area, drink prices on the high side. A solid 4 based on the food and service!
