After spending $400 on a new work wardrobe, I ended up having to return two shirts (valued at $20 each) that were too big. The manager threw an absolute fit that the tags were cut off (but still in the bag, alongside my original receipt) and let me know that from now on if the tags weren't attached I wasn't able to return something there again. That's fine by me-- I'll find somewhere else to shop from now on!
