Story

Dunham's Sports, the Midwest's largest sporting goods chain! Our roots go back to 1937 in Waterford, MI, when a small shop called Dunham's Bait & Tackle opened. Over the years with hard work, great customer service and attention to detail we have grown into a full line sporting goods chain serving customers in 22 states, from Nebraska to Maryland. Every one of our over 230 stores nationally offers a full line of traditional sporting goods and athletic equipment as well as a wide variety of active and casual sports apparel and footwear. Our motto at Dunham's Sports is Big Names…Low Prices. That is what we do everyday, give our customers the choice of the name brands that they want, and give them to them at the lowest prices possible.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I brought back a Yeti mug that had a broken lid (my father didn't realize the slider part of the lid was off when he bought it.) The manager, Derrick, refused to exchange it; all I needed was a functional lid. He told me we didn't buy it there because they didn't carry them. I told him exactly where they were in the store and had the replacement lid in my hand. The manager told me there was nothing they could do. Don't come here. They are rude and unhelpful! The manager turned me off to Dunham's completely. I won't be back here again

Great place. Usually only have one cashier open, but it is usually hard to find help because of the economy. Also, I love there clothing choices and shoe selection.

This store is much improved since relocating to this location. The employees are very helpful and friendly. There is a wide range of departments and a good selection. The prices are also very good, with many sales.

Unlike the old location where it looked like a piled up mess throughout the store, it is now organized and offers more than most sporting goods stores. Service is amazing! Plus the prices can not be beat but best of all... it's local! It's nothing like the old location. If you haven't been there, you should check it out! No more driving 30-50 miles for great deals on sporting goods! Dunhams has it all with the best selection and prices! 5 stars!
