Definitely one of the best malls in the city. It's very diverse. Definitely a different vibe than all the other malls. I think it's got a good selection. There's a Walmart there to food court. The bay at one end. I don't think it deserves all the hate that it gets as a mall. However, overall it's a little weird. It's definitely not a place I would take a first date in.
Excellent place to shop for very affordable items and all the way to the Walmart store you will get affordable items in every available store even in the dollar store. There are a lot of phone stores available for sim plans or even purchasing a phone. Don't feel shy come in and purchase from the shops,Walmart queues can get very long in the late afternoons so get in early and leave early .
Nice mall, food court is good, Villa Madina used to be my favorite place but now they give less food, not worth my money. Numerous halal food shops outside as well like Mary Browns, etc. Clinics are located upstairs, best entrance is from the back. Lenscrafters service and staff is nice and helpful. Dollarama and Walmart are excellent.
One of the best malls in the city without a doubt. It has a wide range. Undoubtedly a different atmosphere than the other malls. It has a nice selection, in my opinion. Walmart and a food court are nearby. at one end is the bay. I don't believe it merits all the criticism it receives for being a mall. Overall, though, it's a little strange. I most certainly wouldn't go on a first date there.
Enjoy visiting this place , reason being for such a smaller mall it has quite the variety of stores inside it. Some to which I am quite a regular to, also it has the bank of Montreal right inside the which is used quite regularly. I have never had a better welcome experience from any other shopping mall. Could use a bit of a cleanup as people are outside always looking for change or pushing shopping carts around but I find that is almost everywhere this day in age.
Best mall for any kind of shopping from infants to old age.. There is not Indian food in food court. Rest all the mall is neat and clean and have lots of facilities for shoppers..and walkers
This place needs more security and an entirely new and full makeover. It's so run down, no one but the homeless and junkies visit. It's a deterant for potential paying clientele.
As someone who has visited many malls in Ontario, I was surprised to find that this mall takes shopping to a whole new level. And I'm not alone in thinking so - there are countless TikTok videos attesting to its unique appeal. At first glance, the mall seems like any other - not super upscale, but certainly not a flea market either. Many of the stores are mom-and-pop shops, which can be charming. Unfortunately, my experience at this mall was marred by the presence of numerous drug addicts and panhandlers wandering freely during daylight hours. I did not feel safe carrying my belongings, and the demeanor of the employees didn't exactly improve matters. To make matters worse, I encountered an individual who followed and yelled at me, refusing to mind their own business. This person's erratic behavior left me feeling scared, traumatized and unsafe. It's clear they were struggling with their own trauma and not in the right state of mind. The employees weren't much help either, as they were not the nicest individuals. In fact, the overall atmosphere was so unsettling that I felt as though I'd left Calgary altogether. For anyone familiar with the Jane and Finch/Scarborough area of Ontario, this mall is far worst than those areas. Way, way, worst. Given these factors, I would strongly advise against bringing young children or families to this mall. The risk of exposure to violence is too great. Instead, I recommend exploring one of the many other amazing malls that Calgary has to offer. Unfortunately, Marlborough Mall simply isn't one of them. Stay away.
It's an OK mall. Feels like it is losing some good shops. Hope it turns around and does need a face lift.
This mall was good close to our place. It's easy to go to store. You can buy all you need. They have a food court. You can relax after work .recommended yes. And the washroom was very clean ever the cleaning and the staff was very approachable, the sink and every cubicle wash sanitized. The security guard was approachable. The mall of every family!!
