Story

The CORE now features *FREE Valet Parking! Just drop your car off at our valet booth, located on 3rd St.

The CORE Shopping Centre has two parkades, as well as access to City of Calgary street parking. Parkade entrances are located on 8th ave between 3rd & 4th St and on 3rd St between 7th & 8th Ave.

Our parkades are open from 5:00 am until midnight every day.

The CORE parkade is free for the first three hours on weekends during mall hours and after 3:00 pm on weekdays. A $2 flat rate applies after your first three hours during these times.

The CORE parkade is $6 an hour Mon – Fri, 5:00 am – 3:00 pm.

*Valet parking is free. Applicable parking rates still apply.

First time at this mall and its nice. Expecially all the greenery on the 4th floor. Love the ponds and nature feel indoor with kois! Its a long strip mall so very easy to not get lost. Love the glass ceiling for natural light.nnI could not find mall parking for 25min....i ended up parking in a private lot on 6th ave and 3rd st. $1/hr is much cheaper than Vancouver downtown!
What a great find in the middle of downtown Calgary, an indoor mall with a difference. I’m a visitor in Valgary so I’m not familiar with the typical clothing stores inside the malls. This one had quite a few clothing stores and some high end stores and boutiques. There’s a large food court where it had a great representation of oriental food, subway, and one mediterranean restaurant. The beautiful indoor plant garden is so beautiful and adds to the aesthetics of the mall.
CORE Shopping Centre is super accessible in the downtown LRT route and free fare zone. The atrium-style top floor and indoor botanical gardens make it a great shopping experience. You’ll find all the marquee brands plus some great local gems.
The Core Shopping Center is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Calgary and is absolutely beautiful. Everything is meticulously clean and lighting is perfect. One can easily spend hours in here with the wide variety of food, drinks, and shopping options. To top it all off, there is an absolutely stunning garden on the fourth floor with ample seating and complimentary WiFi. I can see myself just posting up there and getting work done, reading a book, or just relaxing.nnOnly downfall is that all the washrooms are on the fourth floor and with how the escalators are set up and small elevators, it can be a pain to get up there. There were a few escalators that were out of service when I visited as well.nnOverall, phenomenal shopping center that I will definitely be visiting often while here.
A fantastic and beautiful mall placed right in the downtown core, with an amazing food court on the fourth floor. On the main floor, there is a west and east part, the west Holt Renfrew and east Simons, and is not connected to eachother. The other floors are connected. The Devonian Gardens is amazing, don’t know how someone could place a garden in a mall. Also has good transit access, if you’re coming from 69 Street/Tuscany, it is on 3rd St W. If you’re coming from Saddletowne/Somerset, it is on 4th St W station.nnAside from the mall, there isn’t really much for stores and not much major brands like there in Market Mall or Chinook Centre. I wish there was more major brands. Also love the renovations and new escalators. And right next to Stephen Ave.nn8/10.
