Eau Claire Market

Great to see the improvement here. The indoor play structure in the food court area is a good one. My grandkids love it. But I'm stunted to see an adult playing with some kids all through the different features for almost half an hour! I notice from the printed regulation that this play structure is designed for kids 2-10. Wish that situation will not happen again. Other than that, our Sat afternoon experience in that mall is great, especially time spend at Photo Studio, Sweet Surprise & food court.

There are some good stories here, there is winter/ Christmas night market held a few times in winter and very few places in food court to eat. There is Cineplex to watch movies too. A great coffee place named The bean stop". Not much crowded mall...

Seemed a little bit dingy and weirdly laid out, with the only immediately apparent draws being the bike rental shop and Good Earth Coffee; but further investigation revealed a reasonably diverse and attractive food court, and an indoor playground for children! The playground is flanked by a high table and chairs for parents to enjoy coffee or lunch while keeping an eye on the kids; very well designed and definitely a game-changer. This took it from one or two stars to four, in my opinion. It doesn't undo the layout and atmosphere, but sure made up for it.

I love the cinemas. It's the only option in the core to see either the latest blockbuster but they also have excellent art house programming. It's almost never crowded here outside of CIFF and I can walk here or ride my bike.

Has some cool shops but overall the mall is deserted which is unfortunate because it's a great location. We just go there for the movies. Closest theatre to my apartment but it's quite old. Worth it for cheap movie Tuesdays.
