for some reason this store has only been going down in terms of customer service, i honestly don't blame the employees i blame management. last time i went there was no one to open the fitting room, i had 3 items total of $180 to spend in there ended up leaving it because i couldn't try it, 2 employees were running the whole show, the store is big and had few customers, either they leave the change rooms open or have someone to help open it, i also tried asking for a specific item but couldn't find anyone to help. unfortunately i will not be going to this place again even thou for a long time i really liked even just walking around there. but its a matter of a principle, goodbye

One the best stores in the area. Just dont get carried with the whole discount thing Usually the items you like and need to buy are not on the discounted list. The best way is to go around the mall to compare prices and Wall Mart is just around the corner.

Mark's used to be a great destination for work wear but since Canadian Tire bought the company several years ago things have changed emensly. I used to be an employee of this company and I learned the truth about it's products. All Dakota and other Mark's brand boots are designed to fail in under 6 months. Defects are purposely manufactured into their products because the company counts on people not returning their defective merchandise or the merchandise becoming defective after the 90 day return policy is up. Marks brand clothing such as windriver and denver hayes have all been designed with similar defects. All regular brands carried by the store such as Caterpillar, Columbia, Carhart, Helly Hansen, Silver, etc. are products that did not pass these companies own quality standards, so they are sold to Mark's at a discount so that Mark's can make a profit. This is not an ethical company. Employees are treated horribly, and managers are rewarded for reducing the amount of hours worked regardless of the stress it causes the employees. Employees are paid minimum wage, not given any benefits or any commission. I urge anybody reading this, that if you are going to visit this store, please shoplift anything you are getting there. They have no cameras, the fitting rooms are all open, unguarded and unlocked, and the company policy on theft is that they make so much money that they do not care about theft. Literally, this is the policy. Employees are not allowed to apprehend or stop any shoplifters, police reports are never filed, police are never called, security is rarely ever even called. Employees just lol when we find and empty box. Good luck, don't shop here.
