G.A.M. Shoe Repair

Upsells for no reason! I didn't need my shoes cleaned. Asian guy said he can't have a shoe leaving there "dirty." He also painted the tip of my heel black as it also "couldn't leave without looking like this." I got charged for this! Job was okay, but customer service and prices not. When I inquired about prices he told me that went is really high for them so they need to keep prices high. Will not go back because of un necessary work done on my shoe I had to pay for.

My mother called here the other day to ask if they would be able top replace the heel on her shoes and also approximately how long the repair would take - a few days or the same day even. The Asian man who answered abruptly said, "if everyone wanted the shoes repaired right away then he would be busy the whole time". My mom was so shocked and embarrassed by his rudeness that she hung up.

Talked to the guy working there and asked to see if he can take a look at my belt. Met with an abrupt disgruntled "no" and nothing else. Not even any suggestions to go or any idea about how to even remotely start looking for such a repair. Save your money. Avoid at all costs. The other low star reviews are 100% correct.

brought my Berkenstock sandals in for repair on Jan 7/16, the owner said he could do the job. I informed him that I needed them for the following week as I was going on vacation. Left them there for one week as agreed . came back to pick them up Jan 14/16 and they hadn't been touched. The Asian guy told me he wouldn't fix them, complained to me about the owner and working requirements there and only offered to return my money. I have been looking for sandals since yesterday with no luck and am leaving for my vacation tonight. Major disappointment and inconvenience Don't go there.
