Little Burgundy

Came here on my work break on June 10th around 2pm. There were 3 girls working and hanging around the cashier desk, talking amongst themselves loudly. None of them greeted me or offered to help, they just made eye contact with me and continued on with their conversation. Needless to say, I walked over to Brown's and made my purchase there instead as they were professional and friendly. Edit: just read a similar review from Jan 2022. Obviously nothing has changed at this location.

We waited for a solid 5 minutes while all 3 staff were just chatting by the counter as there was only my wife and myself at the store. We were looking to purchase a pair of Blundstone boots but the staff were totally indifferent. After they ignored us for more than 5 minutes, I waved and told them we’re moving to Brown’s which is just next door. One of them just waved back and said “go ahead!”. So much for customer service, your crew should be fired. By the way, Brown’s service was great! January 30th, 2022, 3:50 pm.

So happy with the service I received. The young man with glasses came up to me when I walked in and helped me with exactly I was looking for. He took his time and was patient with me. He made sure I was satisfied with my purchase and even did recommendations. Great service by this young man.

I was tricked into buying the wrong product. Dec 12 2020 I went to the store and saw a pair of face masks that i liked. I asked if they had different sizes for that mask since i wanted to make sure they fit before buying them. The manager assured me they were 'one size fits all' and i would have no issues with the size. After opening them and trying them on I complained to the manager that the masks were small, to what she said she meant they only carried the small size. Which again was not right as little investigation shows Little Burgundy carries two sizes for that mask. I understand these cannot be returned. It is just wrong to lie to customers into buying a product that doesn't work for them.

I had so many preference if shoes that i liked to buy and i did get a good service to try them out, but she was so fast that it felt like she wouldn't give me time to browse and pick out what i want to wear without starring or asking me if i needed to try on everything i touch. It was very frustrating, so i end up one and returning it because it felt like couldnt take my time to buy what i was looking for , after all it was a few hundred, and i deserve not to be watched over like that thanks.

I bought a backpack here but it ended up having a really faint shoeprint on the back. So, I came back to get an exchange and the staff helped me super quick! They were very really sorry about the situation and grabbed me another backpack which they allowed me to check in case there were any issues with it. The staff were super friendly and helpful, I was out in under 5 minutes! Overall, great experience!

First of all I am not one to complain or give companies a bad review, this is my first time, however I feel I need to share this. I am not happy about the customer service I received at the Little Burgundy in Guildford Mall. I spent $200 on Aigle waterproof boots purchased from Little Burgundy, I wore them 2 times in the rain and my toes and bottom of my foot were damp from the boots. It appeared to me that the boots are defective. On Nov 26, 2018 @ 530pm I called Little Burgundy in Guildford Mall and spoke to a female, who stated she was the manager, about the issue with the boots. She told me the water probably went through the top of my shoe, which I told her was not the case as my pants, ankle and top of my foot were not wet. She also continued to advise me that they could not return or exchange the boots i still have receipt as I have worn them. I told her I would not be able to tell that the boots were not waterproof had I not have worn them. Also if the shoe was waterproof like it is suppose to be I would never return them, but clearly they are defective. The manager was very condescending and rude throughout our conversation and finally said to bring them in and she would run the shoe under water and see what happens and "if I am right" again very condescendingly. If they were not waterproof she would have to get in touch with her DM to see if they could do anything. So she basically told me she wasnt sure if they could do anything about the boots. I wasnt happy as I paid $200 for boots that are suppose to be waterproof but arent. I also was even less happy about the manager making me feel like I was lying and being snarky with me. I called the Metrotown and Pacific Centre Little Burgundy stores and they advised me to bring in the boots and they would replace them or return them no problem, completely a different attitude than the Guildford Store, and they were friendly and nice. Unfortunately I will not drive all the way to Metrotown or Pacific Centre to return the boots with my kids as they are a bit crazy in the mall. However I am thinking about not going to Guildford Little Burgundy either to deal with a condescending and rude manager. I may just have to take the loss.

Went as a group and a friend ended up buying a pair of shoes Purple eqt. Staff member who assisted was very relaxed and helpful. Very nice staff, and the store itself is very neat and organized. Shoe selection is consisted of mostly brands from reebok, fila, vans, adidas, and nike. Has a good selection available.

Every single time I go here, all of the employees are busy chatting and laughing. No one even looks over at the customers who enter their store. Very rude!

Nice place to shop for casual shoes. Service is great, there one of the few places who always greet the customer.
