Marjolaine Pastry Shop

I have read some of the other reviews and find many speak of price. The prices, I feel, are within the norm for a European bakery. The tastes of the various baked goods are wonderful, but the croissant's texture is less then I expected. The texture was that of a delightful dinner roll not a delicately layered, flaky pastry. I do hope they resolve that problem, a French Patisserie requires absolute control of the temp. of the dough, the butter and the oven to make a proper croissant. The ambiance of the shop is quite nice with a lovely display of chocolates, tarts and cookies. It also allows the customers to view the bakers working in the back. I liked that very much.

I love going here foe the holidays I feel some of their prices are very high while other items like cookies are incredibly low which actually is amazing. I have been to places like Libby's before and a pound of cookies to them is like five cookies. Marjolaine doesn't discriminate and gives you a nice big handful. So thanks guys! Their cakes are beautiful and so are their pies.

Love this place from its begining many years ago. Always a pleasure and everything Ive ever eaten was delightful. Highly recommended.

Delicious pastries and it looked like the sandwiches and desserts selections were also great. The chocolate croissant was unqiue and really well done. Wish the seating options were better, but it looked like most people got their items to go.

Un cafecito and an egg and cheese on a croissant.. I've never had such fluffy eggs, so delicious!
