G Cafe Bakery Ninth Square

The best bran muffins I’ve had in Connecticut. Other local shops carry them, often unlabeled, but all credit to the source. Good coffee and espresso too. I’m most often there Sunday mornings before the brunch rush. The vibe then is lively without bustle. The music is at least two notches hipper than I, as are the hot brunch options. But they do the simple things just right, and that’s what I come for.

Do not go there. Went there for lunch. 3 people were there picking their nose and eating it, No lie. really. really, EATING their boogers. In public. Nasty and so unclean. Touching table and chairs.

This place is amazing, with some of the best bread on this side of the Atlantic. The breakfasts are delicious and the setting perfect. It is a great place to study or have a long talk with friends.

Cozy place to get a tasty sandwich, cup of soup, or just a latte. Nice place for a lunch date with friends or some study time. Clean and quiet. Everything is kind of adorable and comforting.

I love G cafe but my experience this time was lacking. It was freezing inside, the internet didn't work (I had gone there to work), and overall it just wasn't as good as it used to be. Disappointing.
