Wonderful Italian bakery in the heart of New Haven’s Little Italy. Wide selection of Italian pastries, cookies and Italian Ice. My favorite and always reliable is the traditional cannoli. I have never had a bad one! Beware though, this is a cash only business. They do not take credit cards or debit cards.

The older lady serving us (maybe the owner?) Was so welcoming and friendly that we chatted for 15 minutes! Delicious sweets in a very cute setting, definitely visit here if in the area!

I think this place is overrated. I don’t think it was that great. I only tried gelato.

stuff from the display tasted like it came from a display. also people who say mou-zuh-rell are not Italian.

I'd love to give you some glamour shots of this place but the true value is in the food and the people. The actual building is old and very lived in & loved. SOLID Italian neighborhood, good Italian coffee and the Italian ice is beyond what you've ever tasted in an Italian ice. I recommend the chocolate or the coconut for first timers. So creamy and full flavored!! Of note: this place is old school. CASH ONLY. Go across the street to Tony's if you find yourself with only card in hand. They have an ATM in the lobby ($2.50 fee)
