Madonna Rose Cafe

Chose Madonna Rose on last Sunday morning around 10am because we had heard it was great food. From the minute we walked in- we were disappointed. Every.single.aspect of our visit was poor. No one greeted us, waitress didn't want to seat us, no one wanted to wait on us. Didn't take drink orders. Eventually brought 3 water glasses for our table of 5. She finally took our order- and after 45 minutes we asked our waitress to check on our food. The restaurant was completely full - someone at every table- and not one table had food. She never came back with an update. 3 tables around us who have been there 30 minutes less than us get food. Maybe 10 minutes later she brings our food. One of 5 plates actually had warm food on it- the other 3 cool to the touch and one actually cold. The 2 kids meals were sad sad cold little meals. It looked like one egg had been divided in half for each plate. Thin 2 inch wide strip of ham. 4 inch diameter pancake. Sad! Not one positive in our trip there- nothing. Not one person in the place interested in how our experience was. Not the waitresses, not the cashier. No one. Would NOT recommend- and will NOT go back.

My wife and daughter and I enjoyed this food!!! She received the hot beef and I had the prime rib melt both came to the table fast and hot. Hats off to the night cook!!! Also the pie is the best I've had in years!!

If I could give the place negative stars I would!! We arrived at 10 AM the waitress got our beverages we placed our order 10 minutes later. I asked a few times about our order for our party of 6. After multiple tables receiving their food and we had not I question the waitress again and she went back to talk to the owner because he was cooking. I was standing there and he told the waitress “well, now they will have to wait even longer’. I heard him make this statement and I responded “we have already waited an hour and a half we will won’t be waiting longer, you can keep your food!” He Screamed at me you are not talking to me like that and told me to leave and not to come back! Not a problem!! They can keep their food and his bad attitude towards his customers because I don’t need to give him my business or my money!!

The food was delicious and the service was amazing! It's not the Taj Mahal, it's a neighborhood cafe. If you like good home style cooking with friendly service, this is the place. :-)

Hot! Fresh! Friendly! A little more than what we wanted to spend but worth it!
