Story

· The M Montreal Hostel is definitely the place to stay if you want to fully enjoy Montreal. We are surrounded by the most popular neighborhoods like Old Montreal (10 min walk), the Latin Quarter (5 min walk) or the Festival District (10 min walk).

· With a creative concept freshly remodeled, our establishment has a total capacity 490 beds. The hostel itself offers multiple different options - from our comfy dormitories to our spacious private apartments - we can assure you that you will find the accommodation that suits you perfectly!

We also created our very own bunk beds! Designed by us and built in Montreal, they offer comfort and privacy with different features like outlets, light, personal hangers, a curtain, a private locker etc...

Spend some time on our rooftop terrace and enjoy the view of downtown while relaxing in one of our two swimming SPAS.

We also welcome you at our M Bar between 3PM and 3AM with different activities each night of the week!

After looking at the positive reviews and recommendations I decided to book my room. I stayed here for 4 nights and had an awesome time.nThe location is great: plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and entertainment within a 10 minute walk.nThe facilities were good and I happened to be different places in the hostel as the cleaning staff was at work; they’re great.nThe kitchen provides enough space for several people to cook at once; there are lounges and several places to relax.nThe only negative thing I can possibly say is that the pillows and mattress were kind of flat but decent for the value.nnOverall I enjoyed my stay and would definitely book here again.
First time hostel stay, and made me lose my fear of hostels! Stayed in a 6 bedroom all girls dorm. All occupants were very quiet and minded their own business. Beds all had storage space under the bed large enough to fit a large luggage plus backpack plus more if needed. Vending machines in the common area had instant noodles, snacks and locks if needed, all with cheap pricing. Staff were friendly and super helpful with issues and recommendations. You have to pay for breakfast, and the bedding you need to do yourself, just small things if you’re curious about any caveats, otherwise perfect stay!nDefinitely recommend!
I’ve stayed many times at M Montréal hostel. It has always been a great experience. This was my first time in a private room. It was a different experience but just as positive as staying in the dorms has been. Friendly staff, great location and always clean and welcoming. Highly recommended
I fell in love with this place, which was basically my home whenever I was in town for work. The rooms are always tidy and organized. The bar in the basement is lit downsize is that it's a cash bar, but at least they have an ATM onsite. The jacuzzi is very dope, and I highly recommend it after a day of work.nnThe staff is incredible. Shout out to Iain, who on my first night recommended me some cool places to visit and was the nicest person ever. Additionally, Anai and Diarmuid had the warmest energy in the morning and evening, and were always ready to help. Shout out to Marco for also promptly assist me with technical difficulties I face in my room twice. Emma and Zephyr are no longer there, but they were incredibly people who always received me in the city with a lot of kindness and positivity.nnIf you're in town and want a comfortable and affordable place to stay, I recommend this place.
We were just here because we had a 24 hour layover between our trip on the west coast of the US to Europe, and it was absolutely perfect for our needs! We stayed in a room with a private bathroom, and it also had a full kitchen, and it was wonderful! Clean, quiet, super comfortable, spacious, great bed--just what we needed! The rooftop hot tub/pool was an awesome bonus! We were there on a random Tuesday in May so I don't know if our experience was representative of busier times, but it wasn't loud and the common areas weren't packed. We didn't check out the bar we were really tired from all the previous travel!, but the breakfast area looked cool! We didn't venture out into the city, we were really just looking for a place to crash and relax, so I can't speak to the location--I'll say the immediate area it was in seemed a little sketch, but again, we just got DoorDash food so our only experience of the overall area was too limited to say.nnThe staff was super helpful, check-in was easy, and the hotel itself felt very safe! Highly recommend--a total steal at the price!
