Lower tier classic Chinese fair for the price. Beef chow ho fen isn't as good as other places. The char Siu BBQ pork and rice was portioned well but the pork itself was a bit dry. The soup was made from something bitter which definitely isn't my thing. The rice was perfectly cooked though. In all the other restaurants around might be a better bet.
This used to be the best place in town for Shark fin soup and Chinese BBQ.. We came for lunch around noon. We ordered Combo C and D. The quality definitely has gone down while prices went up. The BBQ duck and pork tasted old, pork was fatty and chicken was chewy. the steamed sharkfin for Combo D was 1/2 cold and not steamed properly. Quite a shame this used to be my go to lunch spot in Pacific Mall few years ago. 3 stars for being generous what this place used to be and has potential to being as good again. At the current state it's in.. More like 1 star
Profiteer, not honest! I purchased 1lb skinny roast pork, end up they charged me $21 and a lot of fatty roast pork hidden in.
Their signature Shark fin soup has gone up in price from first $25 to now $33. And they have change the bowl to a plastic one instead of the clay-pot holder which can be steamed over and more healthy because it will then be free of radiation. Also, the ingredients are evidently of a lesser and lower quality now. Will not patronize again until they up their quality.
Went there to pick up roasted pork, the man that was working today got attitude so rude. I asked for 5 bones roasted pork he started saying if is not bones don’t take it and leave. Horrible customer service and while he was cutting the roasted pork he kept saying things don’t like it just leave and go complain about me. So the owner came out and apologized so did the cashier lady and she also said he’s not in a good mood today. I don’t care he’s in a good mood or not that’s not acceptable.
Food is ok.I ordered rice with duck. It was good, but the soup not. Anyway it was nice experience.
My favourite place for BBQ meats. I only purchase the char siu and siu yuk for take out. Occasionally I get a meal and I love the soup that comes with it. Been going here for years. It's a staple to the Pacific Mall food court.
Good experience ans this small restaurant. I Ordered the combo A7 that is Veggie, Rice plus two assorted meat and soup. The food was very tasty and fresh otherwise the soup was average not that special. Friendly staffs as well. Meat was delicious specially the roasted pork was superb. BBQ duck as juicy as well. I would recomend this place.
Portion is small and quality of food is laughable. Don’t waste your calories here. A loaf of no name bread tastes better.
Didn’t pack one of the items I ordered. I live 45 minutes away. Plenty of other great places in Pacific. Steer clear.
