Some of the worst customer service I've experienced here. Some people there are knowledgeable and want to help. But most don't have either knowledge or believe in service. I only give it a 2 because they do have good prices on some things and there is a lot of stuff there you can't find anywhere else in town. I wish there were more competition and better management.

Is it difficult to hire people that are knowledgeable about the products in the department they are assigned to? I have read many of the comments posted here with negative responses re rude employees/poor customer service and can never find anyone within the department wanting to help. It sounds exaggerated , and its hard to believe it happens continually, but it is true. I have experienced all of that. It's very frustrating when I need help and cannot locate anyone to assist. When I do track someone down, I usually feel they would rather be somewhere else, and I have yet had anyone go over and above in making sure I understand and have everything I need. I often see the employees visiting withe each other. The other day I had returns, there were 3 gals at the CS area all in a conversation that did not stop through our transaction. Sure wish there was some competition in the city.

The store was in absolute shambles. Very disappointing. Used to be a nice place to shop. We left without making a purchase.

Today at Lowes I found that every customer service sales person seems to be happier in the morning? Weird. Everyone today was very helpful.

It wouldn't let me post because my review was too long. I screenshot and posted it instead. No matter what I cut off, it was just too long. Think about that as you read. I took stuff off just trying to make it fit... And my only conclusion on how to make this store better would be to fire all the new people and hire people who actually care about making a paycheck. Firing the managers was a stupid idea. The guy with that bright idea should be fired as well.
