Wanted to share my positive experience at the checkout.nnCashier 325526 was super nice and polite.nnPrior to me being served, she helped an elderly patron carefully pack his bags, making sure to keep the bread ON TOP!nnShe also greeted me with a Happy New Year!
Rude lady in the Kitchen area. Asking her about the pizza slice's toppings and she's rolling her eyes. Not impressed, first time at this location to do my groceries and I'm hungry!
I love longos and I am not from the area so I don't frequent this longos all that often. I typically shop at the one in East Gwillimbury. I took my wife in to order a cake for a communion and we were in there a couple weeks prior where the baker was super helpful and polite. She said come back closer to the date and order it because it was too early to order. My wife explained what she wanted as she had seen it at another Longos earlier. She said no problem. When you come back we will be able to do it. Fast forward to today. We go in a week before the communion and a baker a different one says she doesn't know what cake we want wasn't all that complicated. My wife tried to explain it and she was rude and talked back. My wife then explained that she had seen it at another Longos and the baker said, well you should just go order it there then. We'll, the fact is, the restaurant where we booked for the communion reception is near that Longos. So why even say that? Why not ask and see if something can be worked out? Are you a baker? Can you not just try and do a chocolate cake with piped roses? Does that sound super complicated? With the prices in that store especially being in the GTA the prices seme higher than ones outside the city, why go to a store that has employees that seem like they don't want to be there? Super disappointed.nnJust wanted to add that I scrolled down the reviews and it seems this is not the first bad review in regards to the bakery staff at this Longos. Maybe this needs to be voiced to Longos corporate. I will be reaching out.
I’ve been ordering from Mona for a while now, and every time she exceeds my expectations. The arrangements are always fresh, elegant, and beautifully put together — you can tell she puts her heart into every bouquet. Mona is kind, professional, and genuinely cares about making her customers happy. Whether it’s a special occasion or a simple gesture, she always delivers something special. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, talented florist!
The grocery store is okay, they have a decent bakery, deli, fish, meat and cheese counter but... It's very expensive.nYes, their produce is great but even sales items are above average in price.nI go every for convenience to grab an item or two but save my full shopping for a more reasonably priced grocery store.
