Longo's Bathurst

Difficult to rate these guys. Some staff were really kind and friendly, others made me feel my very existence was bothering them, BUT, that’s my sense of the general people living in the area/ customers, so, maybe they’re just a product of the location. In any case, I like the ample selection, the organization and cleanliness of the store and even feel the prices are fair given the quality of the products. Perhaps reviewing basic customer service, like a cashier not saying a single word to a customer, even when waiting to hear how much I owed, is advised. Hit and miss.

This is a well stocked, well organized and clean location. It has multiple prepared food options, including an Italian food station, a sushi bar, etc. It also has a Starbucks on site. I think this grocery store has one of the largest varieties of milk available, including milk on alternatives like nut milk and organic milks. Their seafood section as well as their bakery options seem very extensive.

Honestly they have great foods and amazing produce but it is quite expensive compared to other grocers.nnWalking through the produce area you can just smell the freshness of the fruits.nnThey have an extensive meat and bread department and a pretty decent bakery.nnI seldom shop here but will on occasion.

Due to the war situation in my country and being out of contact with my family for several days, I completely forgot to place the order for my son’s birthday — the sandwich trays, fruits, trays, .... I truly don’t have the words to express how much of an incredible and honorable person Reno is. That day, not only did he empathize with me, but he also took the time — despite being busy — to personally contact several other Langos locations. Thanks to his efforts, one of them accepted the order near where we live.nBecause of him, I was able to go about the rest of my day with peace of mind.nHaving people like Reno is not only a huge asset to Langos, but truly to all of Canada. I’m sure that this kind of attitude and compassion from a manager also influences and inspires the whole team.

Reno runs a great store, and staff are outstandingly helpful. Some have difficult personalities, but less than a handful. Best store ever.
