The historic Locust Grove Estate is a museum, education center and nature preserve, located in Poughkeepsie, New York - the heart of the Hudson Valley.

Products

Mansion open daily for guided tours from May through October, 10am - 5pm (last tour begins at 3:15pm), and on weekends in April, November and December. Gardens and grounds open daily from 8am - dusk.

I attended a wedding several years ago and will have my daughter's Sweet 16 there in two weeks. I have explored some of the front grounds with my daughter n nieces and took some great pics. Keith the Manager is great, he is fun and easy to speak with. I look forward to the party I am hosting I know it will be fantastic!!

The tour was wonderful. Tour guides professional and friendly. Learned so much about the history of the estate. Holiday decorations lovely. Great day trip.

Good place to walk. There are lots of little trails to explore. They are not always clear, so be careful, wear good shoes, and go with a friend.

This place is dreadful. The wedding started at 5. At eight they finally brought food to the other side of the room. Our side had to wait another half an hour for them to bring dinner. When I asked if we could have some bread, the girl said no.I had to chase someone down to get water glasses filled at our table. No one ever came around to see if we needed any thing. The steak and potato would not have filled an infant. I am a very small petite woman who doesn't eat much... went home starving!! Never again.

Beautiful building with Frank lord Wright's untone. Bring your dog on a leash for a nice day. Watch the metro north train pass below it's a joy in the woods.
