First Choice Supermarket

This is the Costco for Asian groceries. Most of the products are displayed in pallets which you can buy a whole. Their selection is good and price is also decent, though sometimes i found the vegetables can be fresher. The fish and meat department is great. There is also a BBQ store inside. Not really a lot of parking in front but you'll get one most of the time. Weekends post lunch is usually busy.

Nov 2021 Tue. Many varieties of grocery stuff. Price is good. Space is ample. Decoration and setup is simple, bland, not colorful but yields the feeling of no rip off place. A common people's market. It is leisure shopping with ease. In windy cold days, it is quite a challenge and courage to visit this friendly place. May take a coffee break at Timmy nearby. Late Dec, update rating. Early Apr, 2022. Add new shots.

First Time to this supermarket. the market is very big and the parking lot is very spacious too. Lot of people come to shop here. The store has a lot of good deals. A lot of variety of fruits and vegetables. there are bakery, meat section, seafood section, cooked food section. The safety measures there are very good too. I enjoy shopping there.

While this place is very much so a typical Chinese supermarket and has everything someone might need, the one thing they don’t have is respect for their customers. Went there to do some shopping and when I came out and checked my receipt, I saw that I got charged double for 2 items for no apparent reason. Went back in to get a refund at the customer service and they returned the wrong amount back. They refused to admit they did something wrong. Had to bring out a calculator and redo the entire receipt just in case they overcharged me for other stuff. If you wanna get ripped off doing groceries, this is the place to be.

As a white guy...u have too bring a asian with u ...if u go here...only cause they tend to over charge me on products on purpose...I've noticed many times ..my bills are higher than normally..if go in by myself...I usually bring a asian..my wife 8.. just so that she can make sure that doesn't happen...overall prices on everything fluctuate from being reasonable to Holly smokes that's high priced...but there is some good deals there..that make it worth the drive....check it out...8 ..

It's a pretty decent Chinese supermarket. The prices are good for the quality. There's a good variety of things from cooked BBQ stuff to the seafood and fresh meat areas. They accept credit card and debit cards so it's convenient. Good variety of produce and freshness has been maintained. Still a good place to shop for value. Update Aug 2022: Lots of variety of fresh, frozen and dried goods. Their prices have increased with inflation but still better than a lot of other places. Deals can still be found.

not bad at all,price is cheaper than TNT or other big super market.

Price is quite reasonable compared to other supermarkets in the neighbourhood. Lots of selections to choose from. Also lots of wholesale items.

Lots of authentic chinese and asian foods, but shopping env needs to improve

The worst customer service I've ever been in GTA. Staffs don't care about humiliating and upsetting a customer. I shopped in the supermarket today and paid with my credit car. I was just leaving with my shopping when I noticed bags of sweet potatoes they leave outside of entrance for display. I took a bag and went in again to pay for it. I asked the woman on the entrance corner counter if I could paid there, she said " cash". I replied to her twice I only had credit card, in that she points me to go to regular cashier lines. I go there, I waited in the long line up, when it was my turn, the cashier tells me only credit cards when amount more than $30. I had zero cash with me. I showed her my receipt of $66 of my previous shopping, that this was an item I missed. She refused to sell me the sweet potatoes, in the heated argument she calls a " supervisor " that was the same woman in the corner counter who pointed me to go to a cashier when I told her I only had a credit card. She took the sweet potatoes, and I followed her to the corner counter, and anyone would think that as she didn't inform me from the beginning about the credit card rule she would just do the transaction. NO. She took the bag and she told me, no cash, you can't buy it. Leaving me even more upset about how more unfair this can get. This Supermarket can have good prices in certain items, but staffs treating customers this way, and not even acknowledging their own mistake is the worst I've ever seen.
